Going through this with Rohn and Luke. We came to the same conclusion. Outside they are fine. I enter the picture and it's WWIII. Getting better. Does take time and patience.

The owner of the Pit, does he feel any responsibility? He or she should. Hope your dog heals quickly.

My gosh, everything is so green!

Happy Birthday Yukon!

Sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl. Never used that med for any of my dogs. Normally use Rimadyl.

It sounds like you all had a great time!

Does seem tempting, but consider the cash flow aspect. Chances are, you are still going to be out of pocket up front for the vet bills - then file a claim. Bet if you canceled before you got the reimbursement check, you might not get the reimbursement check.
We just had Zoya's teeth cleaned a few weeks ago. $563 was the bill. OUCH!

Sorry for the issues. In all honesty, not many of us, if any, on this forum are breeders and so don't know all the ins and outs of whelping and care of new born pups. I'm afraid I would not be able to provide you much in the way of answers.

A new teacher is trying to make use of her Psychology courses. She starts her class by saying,
"Everyone who thinks you're stupid, stand up."
After a few seconds, little Johnny stood up.
The teacher said, "Do you think you're stupid, Johnny?"
"No, ma'am," he says, "but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself."- 2

I used to do that, taking a bath as a kid. Now I do it when I have a root beer float. The vid is much, much better.

The time has come to make the pending announcement a simple, ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill announcement. No more beating around the bush, no more procrastinating, no more beating a dead horse, no more guessing, no more speculation, no more wondering what the deal is. No sir, we are going to get right to the point, bring it to the top, give it the highest priority, forego all the pomp and circumstance, give it to you straight.
The above pics are of our new pack member Luke! Not Fred, Don, or Mike, but Luke. He is about the same age as our Rohn, and we got him as a rescue, from the Door County Sled Dogs. Great organization. So today, we drove about 190 miles, up into Wisconsin, spent a few hours, and drove home with Luke. Things are a bit dicey at the moment with Rohn, but they will work it out over the next few days. So there you have it.
This concludes both the former pending announcement, and the actual announcement.
One more pic of Luke.

In three days, well, maybe four, I will be able to make the forthcoming pending announcement, a non-pending announcement. But keep the guesses coming til then.

Come on peeps! It's getting close to when I am legally able to make the pending announcement. It would be great if a few more guesses could be posted. Might give me some ideas on how to formulate said pending announcement. We are only a few days away, from being able to toot the horn of announcmentism (just made that word up). I realize there may be many important and "pending" issues of your own, as there are for me. But all I'm asking is for some guesses. You know, something to keep me focused on the important stuff. Like, "Dave's going to join the Marines.", or "Dave's building a high-rise building in New York City. It will be known as Twump Tower.", or "Dave has finally gone off the deep end, and is now swimming professionally." That should get the thought juices flowing. Give me some feedback. Thanks peeps.

The markings are not what most common individuals would recognize as being Husky. So from that, I can see why someone would think the dog is not a purebred. But having seen Huskies of all color variations and markings, I don't see anything about yours that would run a red flag up the pole and make me think mixed breed.

From one Dave to another, us Dave's gotta stick together. Welcome to Husky-Owners. Sharp looking little guy. As he grows up and becomes more active, just be firm, and patient with him. Set the boundaries and stick with them. Be consistent in your training and in your approach with him. Oh, he will still push the envelope with you, but if you remain firm and consistent, he will learn those boundaries and he'll respect you at the same time, and you'll have a bonding friendship like no other. Enjoy the forum. If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to share, we are here. All of us. Huskies too. Even if they are blowing their coats. Unless they are napping. Gotta go.

Welcome. Dawson is a good looking dude. But then most Huskies are rather good looking.

These dogs cannot be trusted I tell you. They are all out for themselves. They steal your stuff, they lie around, they run off. Glad Nikko did not get into anything too serious. But if he ever does, you now have the experience of using Hydrogen Peroxide, and will know what to do.
