Happy Gotcha Day Kodiak.

Best thing ever in my life, took place 32 years ago, today.  The photo below is of Sally and me, on our Wedding Day.  Seems like it was just yesterday.

I had a Husky just like your new one Rob.  Darn thing would not listen.  Would not eat anything, not even human food.  Had to shove his face into the water bowl to get him to even soak up any moisture.  Had to literally drag him on walks. Would leave him off lead out in the front yard, all day and all night.  Dog was so comfy just watching the traffic drive by, that he never left the yard. Finally gave him away to one of the neighbor's kids. They tell me he's doing fine, but I never see him.

Oh Emma, that's gotta hurt. OUCH!

Spent the afternoon installing Katzkin leather on the front seats of my Ford F-150.  Fingers are sore, have several band-aids on my hands, and I did not get my nap in today.

Looks purdy neat.  Good for hot cocoa in the winter, tea in the mornings, or coffee at night.

If you have a state university, you might check to see if they have a veterinary clinic, and give them a call.

Our Zoya has allergies. We give her four Benadryl twice a day.  She also gets an ear infection once in the spring when pollen is running rampant, and once in the fall when the corn harvest is in full swing.  With the Benadryl, the ear infections are not as bad.  We also give her two fish oil pills twice a day. The fish oil helps her absorb the Benadryl better.  Do check with your vet, first though. Our vet has a phone app to determine the proper dosage of Benadryl, and since dogs do not absorb it as well as humans the dosage is higher.

I like Iron Will.  Also like Eight Below.  Snow Dogs is what I call a bubble gum movie, though I still enjoyed it.

"Ahh, do you wub your duddy?"

"Did you do that?"  Then you get that look.

And then, "OK, let's go outside Mr. Pooper miester-miester pooper."

"Gimme da paw!"

Looks pretty awesome!

Welcome to Husky-Owners! I would not feed wet cat food to any dog.  Your vet should be rapped on the knuckles for that suggestion.  If your Husky is bright and alert, stools are firm, and she is active, being a tad light weight is not a big issue.  Having said that, have you had her stool sample checked for parasites?  If she has worms, that can relate to being underweight.  What food do you normally feed?

Well, I had never heard the word before.  My son brought it up in a conversation yesterday.  It was raining outside.  He said, "Petrichor is taking place."  So, I asked him what he meant.  "Smell the rain?", he said.  I responded in the affirmative.  "That's petrichor.", he said.

Let's see if anyone knows what the definition may be.

Weather and scenery look great.  Dogs must have been njoyed the walk.
