  1. Found these on eBay. They put whatever name you want. Just had one made to see how the quality is. Seems fine.

It's an iron-on, but I stitched on my jacket with needle and thread.

  2. Laws vary from locale to locale.  Where I live, once the exchange of funds took place and a certificate of adoption was issued, that would preclude any contract. In other words, the deal was done. A contract after the fact would become binding, only if signed. If not signed, the rescue would have no recourse, and, therefore, I would have no obligation to succumb to the terms of said contract, unless signed.  Since the exchange was already consummated, I would be under no obligation to sign an "after-the-fact" contract. Not sure how things apply where you live, but the best advice would be to consult an attorney, or solicitor as they are referred to in the UK.

  3. I am so thankful to have Thanksgiving behind me.  We went out for Thanksgiving yesterday.  Had a very nice meal.  Got home, took the dogs out.  Came back in through the garage, pushed the pad to close the overhead door, and BANG!  Snapped one of the cables. Door was tilted slightly.  So here I am, dark, cold, raining cats and dogs, and the door is jammed.  Got the door up, backed my truck out, and finally got the door closed.  Today, Black Friday, go to a home center to get some cables and tools needed to make repairs.  Hardly a place to park, spent over an hour in the crazy store trying to navigate through the crowds to buy a few items.  Two hours later, I get home, watch a few YouTubes on how to replace the cables. And an hour later, all done. Garage door works!  Best not give up my day job, however.  But even with that, I am so thankful for my family, my fur babies, my friends, and the fact that I awakened without a chalk outline around me.

  4. There is nothing like the experience of having a Husky puppy.  They can be trying at times.  Bathroom habits are challenging.  But through it all, you end up with a family member that fills your life with an abundance of joy.  Welcome to the forum.  As time goes on, if you have any questions, we are here.
