  1. never been into cresteds - i kept leos before, and yemen chams, best place to get vivs cheap is reptileforums.co.uk cant say lizards are really my expertise though as i used to breed royals. which i used to keep in R.U.B's not sure if you can get rubs in the right hight and depth for geks but if you can they are a cheap alternative to a viv other than that ebay/preloved? i paid £170 for my yemen chameleons extorra terrarium from a pet store, and we sold it with the cham & full set-up (AND A 8FT HIGH FLEXARIUM) about a month later for £120 on replite forums hope thats helped
  2. ok so heres a few pictures - shes not really feeling photogenic - i think she is a bit knocked about by all the injections...
  3. i have a bike... and i have a dog...and i have a harness....anyone with whatever else i need...im interested! just let me know! a helmet and elbow/shin pads i can pick up easy enough...but anything else (i.e. walkydog, booties) i am finding difficult to find!
  4. yeah all in all she is in good shape shes a good weight he said her coat is brill, her ears and teeth are good too. well worth the money... as long as she is healthy and happy i am:D
  5. i just brought lola some salmon wainwrights and she LOVES it... wish i could say the same for her raw food! leigh - no wrries about the text! hope your phone gets sorted soon! lol will prob chat to you n interpalz laters x
  6. ok so here it is: lola is actually 4-5 years old not 2 as her previous owner had said. she has all her adult teeth ect, and it could be that as her prev ious owners received her in an emaciated state - she has stunted growth and was mistaken for a younger dog. (this is also why everyone coments on her size on husky meets) her claws grow at funny directions, and although they are getting filed down on the pavement they are still growing far too long - they have been clipped all nice now and look very neat. she had a good struggle while being clipped and had to be muzzled but we knew she didnt like her paws messed with anyway she has had her kennel cough up her nose and as she has no record of previous innoculations we have had her given a full course of injections, the vet scanned her for a micro-chip and nothing has come up so she will be having one of those when she goes back in 2 weeks fr the rest of her injections and her free wormer. he also felt her insides and her belly and he says he cant feel any scar tissue so she may or may not be done as we were told. but its difficult to tell as sometimes it heals well and could leave almost no scarring anyway. the vet has also looked her over and said he is almost 100% certain she is pure-breed husky (as we werent sure becos of her temprement wether she could have a small amount of another breed) he said she has all the key elements of husky liniage and he would say thats what she if for definate. and if crossed with any other breed there could possibly be a small percentage of mally in her but he doesnt think thats the case. all in all im quite happy with the outcome! and she has had a vast ammount of chocolate drops, raw hide chews, and gravy bones brought for her as a reward for her good behaviour!
  7. aww hugs hunny ! i hear wainwrights is good. we are going to swap lola to it from iams... am trying to coax her onto raw again too....
  8. just wondering what your huskies like to eat? all huskies seem to like different things and i think i am one of the only husky owners i have spoken to so far who's husky wont eat raw or expensive dog food, only cheap junk... if anyone else has this problem how do you supliment your doggies diet? EG; LOLA eats either butchers superior, or winalot casseroles, mixed with iams large dog, as a treat - pedigree chum dentastix, hide minty cigar chews, james wellbeloved hypo-allergenic treats, lola also LOVES fish... i mix it into her main meal once or twice a week, i try to vary the type a fish, she LOVES sardines, mackrel, pilchards, crab meat, anchovies, tuna, tinned salmon, i also use fish to fill her kong as its pretty much the only thing that she loves enough to play with her kong for (talk about cats in a past life)
  9. yeah, aimee you can come collect for sarah after the meet if u want as we are going too? we dont live 2 mins away from where everyone is meeting - so you can follow us back for it if you wanna get it... its still sat here in my freezer so.... if its wanted come get it £20 is a bargain as you both know! will keep it for you anyway and let you know if it gets brought before hand. otherwise i will only end up chucking £50 in the bin and ill be gutted if i have to do that.
  10. I brought it to try lola with a few days ago - and she just wont touch it... we have tried everything. chicken juices mixed in, warm water, dog gravy, tuna mixed in and no luck. however slap some pedigree chum in a bowl and she wolfs it. therefore i thought i would sell it. as it hasnt been defrosted and is soldily frozen - can remain frozen and unfed for up to 6 months and can be kept in the fridge for up to 4 days after defrosting. HAS BEEN KEPT IN A CLEAN FREEZER WITH NO OTHER FOOD ITEMS food is as follows: 18 individual 1 kilo tubs (can be fed 1 half pack twice a day alone, or 1 quarter pack twice a day with a seperate portion of dry buiscuits) Natural Instinct RAW complete turkey food for working dogs (ideal for huskies or so i am told) containing: HUMAN GRADE turkey mince and bone butternut squash carrot apple salmon oil added vitamin c very high quality complete raw food i was specifically recommended for my husky unfortunately she is so used to cheap crap she wont eat this. i pay £26.00 for each 10 kilos (paid £52.00 for 20 packs) or £2.80 a pack individually. so all in all there is a good £45.00 worth of food here which can last a good month as sole source meals or 2 months accompanied with biscuits. WILL SELL THE LOT FOR £20 (thats less than half price for anyone willing to collect it. BARGAIN! personally if it werent for the bits of bone in it id cook it and eat it myself! your welcome to look up the company on google i have found them to be a reputable company and if your dog gets on with it: they deliver next day if ordered before 2.30pm get it quick while its here - would be ideal if your looking to try your dog on raw but dont want to spend a fortune incase he/she doesnt get on with it like mine or your just a bit strapped for cash this month and dont want to skimp on quality!
  11. have brought some gravy granules from pets at home - not much in it just potatoe starch and beef fat basically. mixed some into her raw this morning but no interest shown. have also left a seperate bowl of iams biscuits which she hasnt touched and a kong chew full of peanut butter she hasnt even sniffed at out all day going to attempt mixing in some tuna to her next meal.
  12. lol cass that would be awesome. will try that see if it works... got her a mini rubber kong today too. stuffed it full of peanut butter... STILL ZIP i thought it would be a more resiliant toy for her as she is getting through tennis balls like nobodies buisness! she likes it when its empty cos its real bouncy but as soon as there is food stuffs involved she turns a blind eye.
