  1. lol why didn't I think of that, it's a great idea! Thank you Valkyries
  2. Okay so I have 2 Sib's both about 3 months old, one is mine and one is my roommates. They are brother and sister, the problem is if they are separated, even for a few minutes they both will whine and howl and scratch at the door. I'm just wondering if there's any way I can help them learn to be away from each other for a little while?
  3. My problem is I can't pick one that just fits, out of so many lol
  4. okay I finally got a few pics of him He whines a lot and is very clingy, but also wrecks just about everything lol Oh, and he's very playful. If that helps lol
  5. I just got a new husky puppy, he's silver on his back and white on the rest of his body. I was thinking shadow cause it looks like he's got a shadow on his back lol but I kinda want something less common. Any suggestions?
  6. Update: well apparently he has not been fixed, he's just so young I could not tell. So if it doesn't have much of an affect on their behavior I'm wondering what the pros and cons are of neutering him?
  7. I don't necessarily want to get him fixed. I was kinda teetering on whether to or not. If it doesn't have much affect on aggression then that kinda changes things too. But I did have a chance to look around more and he either has a few scratches down there or they are scars from the operation. The thing that gets me is that there are 2 separate scars? And one isn't really where I would expect it to be for this kind of procedure, then again I don't really know. But if he's already done then hey, it saves me pondering the question!
  8. The people I got him from apparently got him from a friend in a litter of about 12 puppies. They only had him a few weeks I think. Short of papers showing he's had his shots and a deworming I don't know much about his history. But it's okay cause he's happy and healthy
  9. Thanks for all the detailed info Arooroomom! I'm just happy he's good with everyone so far. I know my niece is just gonna freak out when she meets him tomorrow
  10. That's funny cause I'm thinking I want something from an amine too! It just seems fitting to me
  11. Thank you Jennet, I appreciate the info. And thank you everyone else, I didn't expect so much response so quick!
  12. I have done research on his breed. I don't think he'd be aggressive, he's really just playful and good with every person and dog he's met so far.
  13. Oh and I will get picks up as soon as I have some good ones. He moves so fast and it makes it tough!
  14. Thanks for the replies guys Not sure what to name him yet as I literally got him yesterday! I'm thinking shadow since the grey on his back looks like, well, a shadow lol but I'm not sure yet. And as far as whether it's right for him I'm really not too sure. I might wait it out a bit and see if he has too much aggression since I do have a younger niece that would be around him a lot. Does neutering generally reduce aggression?
  15. Hi, I'm the ecstatic new owner of a 2 month old Siberian husky! He's the dog of my dreams! I am not inexperienced in dog ownership but I'm not overly experienced either lol He's 2 months old and I'm wondering if he's old enough to get fixed? Or how to tell if he is fixed? As the previous owners didn't seem to know and there's no scarring or signs of anything down there. I don't want to do it when he's too young as I've heard this can cause health problems. Thanks for any help you can give me
