  1. Mika has been itching like crazyyyy...yesterday i saw a brown speck on his face. I took it off and looked at it closely and saw it had legs moving.. It was probably the size of this exclamation mark. !... I have him a bath and he seems to be itching muh less but unseen a couple more of these on his face.. I am taking him to the vet regardless But wanted some insight as to what this might be.. Fleas? Ticks? Something else ? Thanks a lot!
  2. 1. Nope. First one is a husky! 2. I'm really not sure how I got introduced. I've always wanted one since I was little. One day I decided it was time and I contacted a reputable breeder 3. I did alottttt of research. And I recommend you do to. They are not for everyone 4. The first night was horrible. The first few nights actually. Those cries and whines were unbearable. 5. Potty breaks were good, I made sure to always keep an eye on him and took him out regularly 6. For the first few months I never left him alone for over an hour. I was lucky enough to have 4 months off. 7. He loved his first walks. I always walked him 5 minutes per month of age. No longer. 8.eating was good as well! Except he didn't chew he used to just swallow and gobble it right up. They tend to eat lots as puppies. But as they grow older they do have tendencies to skip meals. They are really efficient 9.No! Training was and is still hard. He's a year old and he knows all the basics and tricks. But his recall is horrible. They are very stubborn dogs and will only do things for you if they see the point in it. You have to be creative to keep them Guessing and interested. In terms of potty training. He never had many accidents in the hose because I was home all the time. Just need to keep an eye on them. The first year is hard but worth it. Now there's pretty much no "work"that needs to be done. Except for long walks and cleaning hair from everywhere you can think of.
  3. I know that powerful ones you don't need to brush after. But I have a less powerful one. A 2 hp Metro one. They get really expensive that's why opted for a cheaper one. But it does get the job done. It just takes a bit longer.
  4. So Mika is a year old now, his growls have gotten deeper but still sounds pupish. i was just wondering if his voice will still get deeper. Funny question to ask but im just wondering!!!
  5. Maybe make sure its not diet cranberry juice, cuz i heard that sugar replacement can be very harmful to dogs.
  6. Mikas fur is really soft. He's going through his coat blow. Seems like it'll stay soft. Make sure to feed a high quality food. I also give him sardines in olive oil. And I groom him regularly.
  7. Buy a high velocity blower! I bought one mainly for coat blowing but I use it regularly now. You ll be surprised at how much dust comes out when blowin them out. And plus you can use it to blow their coats out. But be aware that theres usually a white blizzard in the yard whenever you use it lol
  8. Mika used gobble his food down without chewing always. He got a bit older and started to chew his food now. He still eats really fast tho.
  9. Have to agree. Not a wooly!
  10. I always take mika to the washroom on leash and always supervise him on the lawn.
  11. How often do you guys feed tuna? Once a week? Or more often? Is it used as a meal replacer or just in addition to meals
  12. Sounds like mouthing to me. Mika took awhile to grow out of it. Ignore whenever she starts mouthing too hard. Maybe a time out in a different room for a bit.
