  1. Lol thanks. I found out just after camp, but had a sort of inkling during camp which is why I was not such a joiner in lol. Think it was when I looked at Dunc's curry pmsl. But due to previous complications is why I am keeping it more low key lol.
  2. I would guess Nix it will be around the same time I am due Nix. I am 12 weeks this week and the first scan is done around 12 weeks. I am due the 24th of Nov
  3. In my house we use a full height metal garden gate. Eactly the same really as a baby gate but taller.
  4. I have the medium. What I found is the thicker the coat the harder to use without so much pull. But it works brilliantly.
  5. When anybody asks me I just tell them the short blunt way lol. Sometimes its the only way that it sinks in if that fails I tell them that they would be better off with a 2 year old plus dog as hopefully by then its training and personality is either where it needs to be or more easy to judge
  6. http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/faqs/travelling-with-pets/can-i-take-my-pet-to-ireland-or-britain-with-me/ Here you go some advice where they travel. As it will be a pup at the time of travel, think of it as a small dog obviously lol
  7. You might be better having a crate which has a divider fitted that can be moved as the pup grows and then removed later on. As a crate that is way too big wont discourage the pup from messing in their bed as dogs dont tend to like soiling where they sleep. This will make house training easier.
  8. The eyes and tail have Akita screaming out.
  9. There is a camp near me called The Gate Inn. It is right on the National Cycle Network path which is huge. If you fancied a looong walk, it goes past Pembrey country park. There is all the forest you need there. But the walk is approx 10 miles!!! There is also a camp site just outside Pembrey but it run by the caravan club and I am unsure if they accept tents.
  10. Weekends are fine for us too as we are both free every weekend. Perhaps will have to sort something out for the near future.
  11. When I have been talking to other Welsh members there has been an interest for us to meet up and quite a few did meet up down Pembrey during the rally. The thoughts that were coming out were that it was ok for us Welshies to travel everywhere else but not to have our own in our area. A lot of people have also shown interest at holidaying in Wales so could be an option for others further away. The problem that will always occur, no matter what 'kind' of forum be it cars, dogs, you name it, people will be more keen to attend meets where the 'big guns' appear if you catch my drift.
  12. So does that mean Wales and Scotland will be left out when it comes to meets and that we wont have our own regional when it comes to October? A lot of people were moaning when it came to them travelling anything more than 2-3 hours. Well so far in just my experience I have had to travel well over 5 hours to both camps. Heaven help us when its more regional and as for any members in Scotland. We will never get to see them lol. Is this forum becoming more England based?
  13. Lol fair play I think Dax is a photo whore. Thanks for the great pics Jos. In the last pic it captures him brilliantly, a somewhat 'simple' husky lol
  14. The is a lovely site in the new forest called, wait for it, sandy balls lol. It is great if you have kids, dogs etc they are on the internet too. As for Wales which is where I live, it depends what your looking for. But anything on one of the costal paths you can't fail.
