I feel like I should re-introduce it's been so long since I've been online! I'm notoriously bad at keeping in touch with anyone, but... I felt compelled to log in and see what's shakin'!
If anyone remembers me, I'm shocked, if not.. I'm Erry, and my two huskies, Gaga and Dillinger are my loyal and ever rotten loves of my life. Well.. and my fiance'. And my kids. But the fur-babies are a lot more loyal and loving most the time. And they don't throw shoes.
How has everyone been? How's summer treating all the fur-babies?
Honestly, I'm shocked our cats haven't been tagged.. when my girl was pregnant and very hormonal there was nearly a bloodbath when she decided my cat, Skittles, was edible. For whatever reason they've made their peace, and they now sleep together like there was never a problem.. but other cats out and about in the neighborhood, oh boy are the dogs interested. Not sure what the difference is to our dogs, really.
I live in Denver, Colorado. It's very dog/husky friendly here, (I routinely take mine downtown to the open air mall for ice cream dates) so c'mon out!
And I would've probably gifted it to my friend who has a husky and a malamute.. but.. he moved away on me!!!
You know.. its hard to photograph a squirrel when you have a husky chasing it. I've tried. Tan blur... white blur... You give up after about the 500th attempt.
Oh.. BUNNIES. Gaga actually caught one unfortunate rabbit at the dog park.. But once she caught it, luckily.. she just dropped it and looked at it confused. She wanted it REALLY bad, but once she had it she couldn't figure out just why she wanted it. LOL Squirrels confuse her a lot less. She has it out for the one that mocks her in the back yard by throwing pieces of pine cone on her when she naps on the deck. I figure one day.. she'll actually get it. And frankly at this point.. well.. Sayonara Mister Squirrel. I'm tired of the pieces of pine cone too!
I feel as though I should apologize for anyone having to go there, somehow, hahaha but hey, if that's where Shia came from, then maybe, just maybe.. it's not so bad.
Ah.. yes.. I lived in the ugly part of Texas a few years ago... haha good ol' Abilene. I much prefer life here in the Mile High City... but.. there are some really good places to photograph all over Texas.
I know a Nikon D3000 is only $400 right now at Target in the states.. they just put them all on clearance.. I bought one for my sister in Cali.
LOL! you know.. oddly enough I'm torn between them. So many good memories were captured in the past bit with the D3100.. and I can navigate the menu with my eyes shut.. so.. I use it more still. It's like an old chair.. it's just comfortable. BUT.. should I ever decide to part with either of them, I'll put it up on here first, since we all have the prettiest most photogenic dogs ever.
