Yea there's no way i can afford pups but didn't want to spay her early Cuase it seems a year to year and a half is more recommended. Guess its part my fault to so frustrating at least after this....that's it! I msgd her hope she can give me an answer ty for the recommendation

My vet has little experience with huskies and I'm in a small rural area she told me I could leave them all out a birth I thought she was nuts. I've kept them all inside at a constant 72 deg. Of course they will be with momma til at least 8-10 weeks. I have a fenced in back yard that's divided into 2 by 6ft tall chain link chicken wire the whole 9 yards but I'm just more scared over the temperature I don't want the little things freezing but my basement is starting to reek! Every 2 hrs I'm cleaning but seems the smell is getting stronger every day.

So me and my husband planned a 2 week trip to get married and put our 3 dogs in a kennel til we were back. My female was only 10 months and i was waiting til she was a year to fix her and have ALWAYS kept her from the males unless closely supervised. Our vet (where we kennel ed the dogs) knew about her upcoming spay and when we dropped them off we advised she was to be kenneled apart from the other two and we even paid extra for another space. When we got back and went to pick them up they took us to the boarding area and all 3 of them were in one huge kennel. I was extreamly upset and got a partial refund. I eventually forgot about it as time went on and about 6 weeks later out of no where my female seemed to be gaining weight and sure enough 2-3 weeks after that we now have 5 puppies that are 4 weeks old tomorrow. We are getting free vet care and after the puppies are weaned the vet has agreed to do a free spay on the female since it was their fault. My question is I live in the USA and where I'm at the temperature is about 75 deg Fahrenheit during the day and 40 at night. The puppies will be 4 weeks tomorrow. When can i start leaving them outside?

so i was wondering does this qualify as a dirty face husky? lol! i been looking for a dirty faced female and i had one all along and never knew it

I set my ice cream on top of the dresser to go answer the phone and what do I come back to? And apparently my hubby (notice his feet in pic) was to into the movie to notice the little thief get my ice cream .... but I swear he had the cup on his nose a good 5 mins lol

ok so i have a very stubborn boy. he will walk in and out of the crate to get his toys or go in there when he thinks hes in trouble but come time to actually be kenneled omg. 1 min after being in the crate and the others are in theirs too, he starts the crying and howling. i ignore him before and after the crate to try not to reinforce it. the other day i had people over doing work on the house upstairs and the crates are downstairs and for 3 straight hours he did nothing but howl and bark. i have even tried a 3 mile walk/run on the tredmill before putting him in thinking he just had to much energy. but every single time its the same thing. i make sure there are always toys and chews if they are locked up and no luck. anyone else have a stubborn husky?

i have two 9 month olds one boy one girl and a 7 month old... they have been together for the past 5 months since pups but if they are outside alone the two older ones pick on the youngest boy. my husband left them outside to run to work for what he thought would be a min and a few hours later i got home and it looks like the older two have been chomping on the young ones back. no wounds or anything its just his hair is short to the undercoat and when they are out i do watch them. seems to be aggressive play but they have to be watched all the time. im hoping at a year the nutering may help.

i thought the same thing we never touched our littlest ones ears but at 10 weeks old one finally stayed up and the other didnt go up til about 14 weeks

my barley 7 month old we weighed yesterday is 65 lbs or almost 30 kg... when he was 4-5 months old he was 36 lbs... hes turning out to be HUGE! lol

so harley on the left is 7 months old and dakota is 9 months ... i got them both when they were each 8 weeks old so in 5 months time this is the very first time these two have been so close to eachother about dang time lol and it made for a cute pic

harley use to do it all the time as a puppy he still does it but not as often

ok i know huskies are howlers but was wondering if anyone else goes through this. i live about 200 feet from a railroad crossing anytime night or day (and there is a train every 45 mins) when a train comes through and of course has to blow the whistle my dogs all 3 of them howl like they are dying for a constant minute. my neighbors have called the police many times on me because of this. ive even tried a sonic dog debarker that has absolutly no effect on them. Any ideas how to get them to stop?? the only other time they do this is at 5 am and its more chattering and barking because they want food. they wont stop no matter how long (ive waited up to 2 hours) until they are fed. i even tried feeding them late at night around 11 and still no effect. just like clock work. any and all advice and ideas welcome so PLEASE HELP lol

i cant believe in a week it will be six months since i brought these two cute little ones home oh how we had fun with dakota that day lol a month went by so fast and then we decided to get harley this was the day we brought him home him and his one floppy ear so the question is..... since the 4 months that have past since harleys pix and 6 months from myia and dokota what now??? so in 6 months ive obtained my very own pack 3 furbabies and a hubby....what was i thinking?!?!?! LOL.... i love all 4 of my babies <3 and my hubbys one baby as well
