  1. I was wanting to know if there is anyone here that is good with photo editing. i would like to have this picture fixed that my wife took of Misty and me looking out the window. Unfortunately she only took one photo of us and as you all can see, it's over exposed by the sun that was coming in through the window. I was wanting to add a phrase or quote, something like "Always Together" or something to that extent to it as well. Misty seems to be my little shadow. I tried fixing this photograph myself but was unsuccessful and actually came out worse. Thank you in advance.
  2. Catjax thanks again for the advice. BingBlaze'n'Skyla thanks for your input as well. I just want to get this fixed, I hate seeing this when it happens.
  3. Stacey, I live and work in Japan. I would however love to hear any advice you might have to offer. I also believe myself that she's not getting enough oxygen due to her heavy rapid breathing and pulling. When she comes to a stop or I happen to tug on the leash to get her to come my way, that's when she'll lose her balance. Sometimes she'll catch herself and other times she might not and fall on her butt or side. It's scary to see this when it does happen. I just wish she would calm down but she's so anxious to get out and look for cats.
  4. CatJax, thanks and yes I think the same thing as well. She's probably over exerting herself. She had an extensive blood test panel done on her recently as a yearly physical and she's pretty much a healthy dog.
  5. Misty is a year old and she uses the EzyDog quick harness.
  6. I was wanting to know if anybody here has experienced what I'm about to try and explain here. Me and my wife have noticed that while walking Misty, she'll lose her balance at times. It's not all the time that this occurs but sometimes. It seems to happen when she is so fired up and excited and has been pulling me like a freight train. Of course she's breathing pretty heavy by this time as well. I'm wondering if all this pulling with her harness on, the excitement and heavy breathing may cause her to get light headed and week in the legs? We've also noticed this happens mostly on slight inclines or declines and not necessarily on flat ground. So.....has anyone here experienced this with their Huskies? I also want to add that Misty did have a ear infection in both ears not to long ago and has cleared up since then. The vet said that the ear infections could be the reason that she loses her balance at times. But like I said, that infection was a while ago and Misty still loses her balance at times. She never loses it in the house or when we are walking and not being dragged by her.
  7. A second photo of "My Little Girl, Misty" @ 1 year old
  8. Here is a recent picture of Misty.
  9. Thanks dogtyred, we basically pampered her the whole day. Staying out a little longer on walks, getting an extra serving or two of her favorite treats and tummy rubs which seemed like they lasted forever that day :-)
  10. @ attilavikingsdemon and Biggles, I think you guys are right, she already has me wrapped around her little paw :-)
  11. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I'm sure if Misty could speak, she would say the same :-) I'll get some pictures of her posted pretty soon. Can't upload photos from a smart phone apparently :-(
  12. Thanks devilsgunner for your input as well.
  13. Povodny, that is one hell of a story and comeback for your little girl. She really did beat the odds. Your right, I should stop worrying, that is something I have to fix on my part, I'm a worry bug I guess. Thank you for responding to my post and sharing your story.
