  1. i feed minstrel (my cat) first in the kitchen and rusky doesnt batter an eye. rusky is fed in the front room if minstrel comes in the front room he jumps up goes running over but we're always here to stop him. we never leave them in together never have. rusky chases minstrel around the garden but never hurt him its odd because when he put mintrels head in his mouth my cat didnt hiss swipe... nothing and rusky didnt bite it was strange. we are working it out and if we ever need to we can seperate them, ruskys never stalked minstrel and used to not have a problem with him. when they first were introduced they were as scared as each other but then started to get on
  2. i fed my boy just dried food to start iams because he needed something with nutrition because his previous owner gave him food poisoning  but after a while he didnt seem interested so then i added tinned food pedegree in jelly and he loves it most times eats the lot if not he goes back to it. havent changed it since and hes happy with that. i agree with rob chicken and rice settles there stomachs.
  3. i did the same when my boys stomach was upset he loved the chicken so much i left it on a plate to cool down next minute it was gone LOL he didnt even wait for it to cool down!!
  4. its great on here everyones friendly, ive had a few issues and people on this forum have been very helpful
  5. he seems fine when minstrel and rusky are in the kitchen but in the living room is where we put ruskys food and if minstrel even sets one paw in there rusky bounces up so thinking it may be a food thing?
  6. when me and my partner take rusky out we get told hes very small people think hes a pup?! or the "mine have always been much bigger" just ignore it some people think they know it all
  7. so there was no gas can found and the car started for police?! and they were done for leaving there then 3 month old son in the car in 27 degree weather for 20 mins?! wtf is wrong with these people?! shouldnt be allowed to have kids!!!!
  8. im not sure if he is or isnt now im confused. my cat didnt object at all didnt swipe meow.. nothing. ruskys eyes were big but they are if hes excited or wants to go out. he didnt growl either dont think his ears were back either. i will try.
  9. ok so was worried kept them seperated rusky and minstrel (my cat) i spoke to a friend about this in conversation (rusky having minstrels head in his mouth) and she said did he bite down i said no she said that huskys do this as kind of a nourturing thing? funny enough both animals were very scared of the fireworks? minstrel was in the kitchen rusky came in before i could stop him...nothing both animals were fine. as a first time husky owner i have researched thoroughly before getting him also have 3 friends who own huskies that live near by if needed so i didnt get him on a wym. need advice
  10. how very odd, i have 2 boys and would take them BOTH with me i cant imagine why anyone would leave them and then to lock 1 door?!?! is she for real?? sounds very odd cant imagine a mum doing this i agree with jess
  11. thank u. well they used to get on until rusky put minstrels head in his mouth! had to seperate them
  12. thank u think its funny when he rests his head trying to get our attention
  13. awww its awful. So far ive separated my 2 and they havent come in to contact. I also would love them to sit together and they did well my cat on sofa rusky on his bed, they were doing fine getting on my cat minstrel would even go nose to nose. Minstrel spends most of his time upstairs and rusky downstairs so at least they stay seperated minstrel sleeps outside so its just keeping them apart during the day and if im out then ill put minstrel out. just sad its come to this
