  1. It was just a small amount, to bung the hole up on his puppy kong, then frozen.
  2. I've seen a few posts about peanut butter, so I tried some in his kong with some of his normal treats but it has given him diarrhea. It has got to be the peanut butter, its the only thing he has had different from the norm. So is it just because he is not used to it or shall I not give him any more because it doesn't agree with him? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the tips, i'll let you know how I get on! I've just had him out but he was a pain again, then he came in, ran upstairs and relieved himself, both ends, on the landing. I'm sure he does it on purpose...
  4. Hi, I'm having trouble with my 9 week old. I am trying to walk him around the garden but he is having none of it. He goes where he wants, and if I try leading him somewhere he just lays down on his side or back. Pulling does nothing, he just lets me drag him, which I obviously don't want to do. Then he starts chewing on the chain lead, so I have to take him in because I'm worried about breaking his teeth. I started off just letting him roam around the garden but he ended up eating blackberries and made himself ill. (I am chopping the blackberry brambles down now) Its mainly for potty training, I am trying to walk him to the spot where he has been before, I want to use this spot as his area. So in conclusion I need to know how to get him to follow me and not laying down, and to stop biting his chain lead! (am I going to have to get a non-chain one?) Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi, Im from England, I've got him wainwrights puppy dry food to get him on to when I get him off the tinned food. I don't really want to have to put his lead on to take him out but if he keeps going after plants I might have to.
  6. I would be better filming him, he is like a blur, i'm sure he will do it again! And he has just done a bit more in the house, wish I hadn't said anything now!
  7. Yeah it was, he's a real comedian, you cant help but laugh at him! Baz has a small wedge of blue in his left eye.
  8. Well he has just finally been! Then he went running off down the garden with a leaf. He's now playing with his Kong, i've got my seat back! Alex Nico looks great, his eyes are like ours. And carcasses, wow! Baz has just seen a frog but ignored it.
  9. Thanks everyone, I feel a bit reassured now. Yeah he's gonna be a sofa dog, as you can see he has found his favourite chair! Trouble is its my favourite too so he is asleep on my lap at the minute. He ate a full flower head earlier, I pulled it out of his mouth but all that was left was the stem!
  10. Hi, so we got our Husky this morning, just had a few questions. We have had for about 9 hours now, he's been fed on the breeder provided food but not had a number 2 yet. Is this ok? He is happy enough, has bursts of energy then naps. He can be very hyper! I have taken him out every hour or so but nothing. Also when I do take him out he is eating leaves, its hard to stop him. Is this gonna be a problem? He's not having his jabs till Tuesday. Thanks And heres pics before you ask!!
  11. Here you go, this was him yesterday, aged 6 week and 4 days. Bought everything now ready for him coming home next Sunday.
  12. Thanks everyone! We are going to see him this week so I should be able to get some pics then. We have already chosen his name, he will be known as Baz.
  13. Hi everyone, I've been reading your forum over the last few days and picked up some good info, so I thought I'd better sign up! My wife and I get our husky puppy in 2 weeks and we cant wait. We have read a lot about them and decided it would be the breed for us. So in 2 weeks we will be getting our 8 week old little lad! p.s. he wont be coming off his lead
