  1. So then he can make a new breed ya know.. like the labradoodle.. and sell them for 1200 a piece like on myasuhorse.com LOL
  2. I'd have them both locked away or get the male desexed asap! Keep her inside and him outside, it only takes 1 time and you'll have puppies! Doesn't matter on age either! =]
  3. It's very sad. She ended up having 9 but one died, I do hope the others don't have issues
  4. I tell you something I have just about had it! I come on facebook this morning to find my partners friend posting and boasting about his female dog having a litter of puppies, She is lab x heeler, guess who the father is?? HER SON!!! I feel sick to my stomach!, He doesn't care he just laughed saying they have all their limbs, he doesn't understand, he doesn't care.. omgsh
  5. Funny to think my Husky has better re-call then my friends high level obedience trained dog She turns 2 this year DEC too
  6. A foster care dog i had here was a fence digger and I put a plastic mesh on the floor and then up the fence, impossible for him to dig through it! worked great
  7. I taught my husky to dig in a certain area, I will photograph what it looks like but lets just say she has her own 'trenches'! She NEVER digs in the grass! neither does my pointer (he actually doesn't dig). When i was teaching her I'd put her poo in the holes.. you think she wanted to go near them.. no way! She realised not to do it on the lawn because i would only put the poo there! She also wont poo on the lawn only in a dirt area away from the lawn, my pointer shits anywhere on the lawn.. cause he's cool like that! ha ha
  8. It depends on the dog to whether or not they'll have the runs. When i got my pointer puppy I didn't get his food included so i wasn't able to slowly change and I didn't know what they had him being fed on (i do now lol) but he never got the runs and they are completely different types :/ Not good you had a messy accident.
  9. I agree with keeping them apart. They will (as said) be able to walk out themselves and you wont have to carry them. They might go off food and water and will be lethargic.
  10. Generally I stay away from 'less-er quality' dry foods but Bonnie has really got my attention, You cannot buy it from food stores though you have to go to pet stores to get it. I think if the dog is getting all it needs (even if you have to add the supplements yourself) and the dog is healthy and has good stools then who cares!
  11. Pro plan has been said to cause skin conditions and I have also seem them first hand, I wont touch that type of Purina. I only trust Bonnie which is made by Purina, I get 'working dog' because of the protein and fat content, I have trouble finding the 'puppy' for my 6 month old so i feed this, I also feed raw and they get whey powder and calcium D, I have mixed vitamins also but they only get this once a fortnight normally.
  12. LOL at the people who try and sell their pets on FB. Not onle should cross breeds be free but I believe backyard bred 'purebred' dogs should be too, it annoys me when someone is like 'my dog is a purebred 'this' and they have no idea of the bloodlines.. you don't know if the grandsire was a kelpie or whatever, bleh. I know of a girl who has gone through 8 dogs in a year, she buys them and then sells them or swaps them for iPhones, Each time there is anew iPhone she sells a dog, now she has no dogs and is currently seeking a give away Husky or Malamute to give to someone as a christmas gift.. um no she wants it so she can swap it or make some money for the new iPhone!!!!!!
  13. My niece is called Natikah I am not overly fussed with what people call their kids really LOL
