Sabien&Abs

We now have an Alaskan Malamute pup in our pack. Her name is Freya, we have had her for two weeks tomorrow and she has settled in really well.

We are up to number 6 and I started off saying no dogs on the sofa, but Sabien is getting on and looks so cozy on the sofa. They both sleep upstairs in our room but in their own beds. Sabien sometimes comes onto the bed for a cuddle but only if asked and he never stays on it for long. I couldn't cope having the two dogs in the bed, its bad enough having to share space with the OH, lol.

Hope it was a one off, have to stop being paranoid that it will happen again when I'm out walking Sabes on my own as that is more likely to make it happen again.

I have not been on here for a while as had a few things going on in my life. I am off work at the moment due to stress which isn't much fun and a couple of weeks ago, out of the blue I had a seizure while out shopping with my mum and sister in Hull. Still do not know what caused it, GP has done blood tests and ECG's. I cant remember anything about it and I think it was worse for my mum and sister. On a positive note though, we have a new Alaskan Malamute puppy called Freya who is keeping me busy and my mind off worries about work. It's going to take some time to get used to the new site and my profile picture seems to have disappeared!!!!

I watched this. It was awful. Poor dogs who have not done anything being put down and the appalling conditions the dogs were living in with owners who couldn't give a crap about them. At least it showed that the current laws don't work.

My OH and I both work full time, from 8:30 to 5:15 and Sabien is left at home. He has a good long walk in the morning and then an hours walk when we get home. We split the walking, OH does the morning I do the evening. Sabien has the run of the house while we are at work and has never caused any problems. If I take flexi and come home early it takes him a while to come to the door as he is generally asleep on his bed and looks as if to say 'your home early' and then gets excited. I always feel guilty, but he seems happy and we tend to revolve our weekends around Sabien and going places he can also come to. It is hard work and I am knackered during the week, but it is worth it and Sabien seems happy.

Aww bless her. I love the photos of her in the hat. Sabien is quite happy to eat his worming tablets, he thinks everything is a treat!

I love this film and it makes my cry every time I see it. The first time I saw it for days after if I thought about it it would make me cry.

I haven't been on for a while and don't know the story behind this, but the book is gorgeous and I am sure Katie will love it. Well done xx
