  1. I've tried. Nobody is interested. I would dearly like to write a blog about renting....it seems that if I rent somewhere, it needs to be in exactly the same condition as when I rented it, pref better when I move out.
  2. We have found ourselves in a really awful situation. Our Landlady has decided to sell and has given us 2 months notice. (We are 2 weeks into this, so we we have 6 weeks to secure somewhere.) We have 2 sibes and a Mally (2 of which are re-homes), and we are desperate to keep at least 2 together. We have to, owing to work and school commitments, stay in Surrey. Pretty much every estate agent we have contacted has stipulated 'no pets', in some cases even 'no children'. I think that this is appalling. If you rent out a car, for example, there are no such stipulations. Your rental covers any damage. Why not houses? (Rhetorical question.) The Dog's Trust sometimes do flyers to estate agents, but I think more needs doing here. Any suggestions?

Take no notice of him, Sarah! He's goading you, I reckon. Biggles is fully aware of the bet that we have going; all I can say at this point is that it involves a really nice kebab as the prize.

This was such a super afternoon! Meeka is such a lovely little girl. She's very much like my little Molly. Molly's dad and I have placed a bet on whether or not Biggles will 'give in' to 'multiple Husky Syndrome' or not. Watch this space.
  5. Hi there, and welcome to the forum, Paddy! What a lovely looking boy Reni is! I have a Malamute in my pack, so I have a soft spot for them.
  6. Hi Jason, I'm not quite sure what you mean. One of mine is all white, but she cleans herself. Occasionally, all 3 dogs have 'sleepies', (crusty bits in their eyes) which I remove for them - is this what you mean?
  7. Sorry we couldn't be there, Molly; I'm doing home tuition now on a Saturday morning, and others that we meet up at Bedfont have similar arrangements, so the only time we can all meet up is at 2 pm. It looked like a good meet though. Hopefully, we can all get together soon.
  8. Never mind the dogs, I'd happily tuck in to that lot myself!
  9. Hi Emily, and welcome to the forum!
  10. Sorry, but I couldn't resist this: G FFor those of you who don't have kids or are far too young to remember the splendid children's TV programme "Rainbow", this may be a little lost on you...... but it must have been a great episode to watch! Almost too ridiculous to believe... These are taken from original Rainbow scripts and there's no way these could have been done by accident. Innuendo all the way.... The sketch opens with Zippy peeling a banana... Zippy: " One skin, two skin, three skin, four " George: " Zippy, where is Bungle?" Zippy: " I think Geoffrey is trying to get him up" We see a view of the door and hear Bungle moaning from Behind it. Bungle: " Geoffrey, I can't get it in" Geoffrey: "You managed it last night" Bungle: "I know, let's try it round the other way. Ooooooh, I've got it in" Bungle and Geoffrey enter the studio with Bungle carrying a hammer and peg kit Full script can be read here: http://www.funny.co.uk/scripts/rainbow-the-innuendo-script/
  11. I forgot to ask you if you enjoyed it, but glad that you did. Since it has your royal seal of approval, I might give it a try!
  12. Happy many returns, Mick. Hope you have a super day!
