i would never say never coz ours is 13 months and he always comes back. teach from a very young age. Having a pup is the best time to teach him. but it is up to you but try it and see how he is.

Hi. We Have had qilaq since he was 6 weeks old and anytime we have walked him he is off lead unless it's at a road. But he's now 13months and always gets off lead. In the forest, beach, up the braes where there is fields after fields and he always comes back. Yes he has smelled something and went to find it. But we stay where he left us and 5 mins he comes bouncing back. We have recently got a 1year old girl sibe. Who we also walk off lead. She does have a bit more of an adventurous nature and will push the boundaries, however just like qilaq she always comes back!!! At the end of the day only you know your own dogs therefore it is up to you to decide what is right for you :-) but for us it's off the lead all the way :-)

hiya. On Qilaqs dads side daz whiter than white shows on the pedigree with dream of siam. Additionally on his dads side we have tolgoblin ranging stranger twice as well. so looks like our two are related somewhere down the line lol :-)

hey. our friend who is a vet recommended chappie to us and it was great. stopped the runs.!!! our we lad qilaq had the runs constantly. he was fine on a food for a week or 2 then he had the runs lol. we now feed him raw and he loves it. his stools are so much firmer with raw . it's coz chappie has nothing in it lol. plus it's cheap

yeh he loves to play rough, hes used to playing off lead you see, so I think he felt quite restricted at the weekend. You should have seen him when we got home and let him off for a walk ! he was running about daft lol

lol noone spells it right, even my parents spelt it wrong ! I think were going to get a caravan booked for april camp

no I know and its a fair point. Ive just seen this kind of fighting start on waaaaaay to many internet forums in the past and I dont want to see it end up the same in here LOL @ valkyries - will take more than a wee fight to keep us away from April camp ! LOL Qilaq would not be happy with his mummy and daddy if we dont bring him along ! LOL

Dont get me wrong, Im not saying we have a problem with where the money went at all, I just felt it was a bit off jumping all over someone because they expressed their opinion thats all !
