  1. A year at minimum, I'm going to probably do a 1.5 year gap if that soon. Any breeder should realize that females go in season right after weening, as soon as 20 weeks after if I remember correctly. Though your puppy is cute regardless.
  2. Yep those are really the girls! They are growing up fast I can't believe it myself how much they have changed in just a few short weeks. BUT I could not be more pleased with how they are developing! Can't wait to see what the future brings for them!
  3. That's really great Michelle! Glad you had fun I need to find a couple puppy fun matches for the girls before we do the real deal
  4. I walk mine on my left since that's where they are supposed to be in the show ring. But I know my right hand is more dominant so it was awkward at first!
  5. My girls had runny to soft poo when they first came home even though I was following the breeder's diet. Switching them to TOTW puppy resolved the issue, I think the original diet was too calorically dense for the little tummies.
  6. Harnesses encourage pulling and can give you less control when on a bike if they don't know any commands and only on a leash or long line. The Springer is a spring that will absorb the shock of the pulling. http://www.springeramerica.com/
  7. For biking I'd suggest a springer, they offer far more control than anything else I have tried.

    Walking Belts

I use an Ultra Paws skijor belt and I love it! Super comfortable http://www.ultrapaws.com/Skijoring-Sledding-and-Canicross/products/1030/
  9. Thanks! Yes it's hard to believe how fast they are growing, won't be long before they are grown up at this rate!
  10. That would be awesome! Hope you can make it out to the show
  11. Thank you all! LOL, looks like Denali has quite the fan club He wants to say Thank Wooooo all!
  12. Thanks Tracey! I can't believe how fast the girls are growing up (happy tears)
  13. Thanks! I so enjoyed the entire trip in 2008 and hope to have as much fun this year! I LOVED seeing the huskies in action in the Agility ring and getting to see Brace and Team showing which I had never experienced before 1 week before we make the trip!
  14. HuskyHijinx was not trying to be rude, its a valid concern. Diseases are prevalent in areas that have a lot of canine traffic and your puppy has not had all of her vaccinations. Unknowingly you could be exposing your pup to deadly diseases such as Parvo (which can live on the ground for weeks). No one would wish that on you and your pup that is for sure. Exercise is great, but maybe try to find a place that has limited dog traffic since you never know what other people's dogs can be carrying.
  15. Congrats! This is a really awesome achievement I myself have been battling my weight for years, it's hearing from people like you that are truly inspiring
  16. Here's a preview of what's to come! These are some pics I took in 2008 at my first National Specialty show
  17. You can start obedience training after she's had her full vaccinations. If you are interested in showing it's never too soon to start teaching to stack, gaiting will come later. Is she from show lines?
  18. They announce the next years location at the end of the show week, so I'll know when I get back
  19. They have reflective striping on the harnesses, there's no ordinances about dog visibility since there are no leash laws in our area.
