Kennel floor..pea gravel?bark mulch or washed rock?

I've been using pea gravel in my kennels for the past 6 years, never had a dog eat enough of it to harm them, a couple rocks while gobbling up the kibble that fell out of the bowl will pass without issue. It's been amazing, easy to clean, provides enough drainage that the smell stays down. Prior to pea gravel I used -2 washed rock and it's really hard to clean the messes up if they are at all loose. I've been so totally happy with the pea gravel I put it in the full length of my new runs

That is too cute Our mini-Aussie still hordes everything. She will come into the house, gather up all the toys, put them all on the couch in the corner, then pick one to chew on and lay on the rest....won't share with anyone!

Thanks all! There were some terrified yelps when the big guys got too close at first, and an accidental tail squish or two but overall the meeting went really well! It was a bit hot this afternoon was a bit on the warm side so we didn't stay out long, had a second introduction this evening. Denali was so great with them! He's already 'claimed' the girls as his and no one else can have them He kept trying to keep them close to me. Goofy kids! -

Enya was unmistakable, but I almost didn't recognize Kenna when we went to pick them up! She had gotten so light and her mask had gotten very subtle. If it hadn't been for the eyes I really had to look and look again!

Hobbies....hmmm when do I have the time! LOL but things I enjoy outside of my work and my dogs at home time include- dog showing, competitive pistol shooting, photography, riding my ATV or horses, gardening (I'm new to this one!), and spending time with the hubby

Those look like days to week old? It's hard to say since those ears are still pinned back, but they will probably follow a similar growth/development to my pics.

My girls litter all had erect ears by 6 weeks, as have many other litters I have been around. My red had erect ears at 3 weeks the grey almost the same. 12 weeks is very late- 1 week- 2 weeks 3 weeks- 4 weeks 6 weeks-

I don't think those ears will stand, their ears should be erect by 6 weeks, they tend to fall again once the adult teeth (teething) start to push through. Nothing to do with milk teeth/baby teething.

Yeah I'd have to agree the lack of responsibility here is shocking. Do you have any idea if the bitch was in season? Was there traces of blood near his penis or on the bitch's rear legs? I'd suggest telling the owner of the bitch that she might have been bred so they can decide the next course of action, she can be aborted which is suggestible given her age and the pairs lack of health clearances. He should be neutered to prevent 'accidents' like this from happening in the future if you are not going to be more responsible. -
Thank you! With any luck our Kenna will follow in her paw prints. She and Enya share lineage ties on their mother's side to Kauzmo, and our Denali is a half sibling to Kauzmo by father We have a good foundation here paws crossed!

Thank you! Yes Tiko is an amazing dark red boy, we feel that Enya will possibly be close to as dark as him but not as solid in color when she's an adult. Its very exciting She's so much like her papa in so many ways!

Thanks for the info! I have plenty of natural trails out here, I think the issue might just be getting the 'impartial observer' to sign us off as you don't tend to run into people out here on the trails very often if at all.
