I agree with the others, definitely looks Akita cross, especially with the curly tail factor...no matter what you have realized the important thing you LOVE her no matter what. But yes take a ton of pictures, I missed out on the pics of puppy to adult with my first two...but my most recent 8 week old Denali Denali today:

I am definitely living my dream jobs...I would like to be at a higher training level now, but it will come in its own time The only down side right now is I'm so low in seniority that I have to work nights, I miss out on so much more time with my kids.

Just imagine what that woman would have done if I had gone to Petco with one of my ACTUAL wolf dogs...she would have had something bad happen in her britches I'm sure! Ignorant people tick me off.

Thank you Dunc and Liz the weather has been nice but I really did miss the snow this winter, at least in the having fun sense

I was just about to ask if someone was licking him maybe....my white boy licks his front legs in the winter and it stains his legs pink. Vet says it's an enzyme in the saliva...so far it hasn't been harmful and it goes away when he stops licking.

Currently my "dining room" is a kennel room. LOL! This will change eventually, but for now the dining room works just fine. My ultimate dream that we are working toward is building a large shop and converting the current garage into a dedicated dog wing. It's insulated and unfinished right now, so its a blank canvas for husky proofing

Ohhh that is so irritating! About a year ago I had a similar "altercation" at our local Petco. I had gone to Petco with my Red/White blue eyed girl Juneau. It was relatively empty but for one other woman and her two school-age children who were keeping a WIDE berth from us....I soon found out why. Not long after I spotted the woman backing away from us keeping her kids behind her I was approached by a manager asking me and my wolf to leave that we were making other customers uneasy. That's when my girl came out from behind my legs with a big goofy grin and he looked at her then back at the woman shaking his head. He apologized and admitted he hadn't seen us come in the store. He went and explained to the woman who had a fit and stormed out of the store...I guess she didn't like being proven wrong?

We have a designated dog yard that they are free to dig wherever they want...of course we go through yearly and repair. Some of the craters this year are intense! Yes she's in a crater

Thank you Rosemary! Don't be too jealous of our snow, we didn't get more than one good snow that melted by the next day this year...extremely odd for our area. But I think it's safe to say winter has been cancelled this year

Aww that's cute Diamond was originally named "Pink Diamond" per her surrender paperwork. She was certainly a diamond in the rough when we got her. Now she shines as bright as any of my other kids in my heart.
