how many inches should a male be in height?

anyone have a picture of doing this? I think im doing it right but want to be sure. im assuming at about 11 months he is done growing ? From what i understand he will fill out weight wise a bit more though?

im still a bit of a rookie but what are the "guard hairs"? i think i have just learned the meaning of blowing the coat because merlin who what i thought shed a ton normally is now losing hair in clumps especially from his back legs. when i comb him now i seem to be getting like 5 times more hair out and it all seems to be under coat. i can almost pull clumps out with my hand and have been worried but from what im finding out this is normal??? how long does blowing the coat last? he has been doing it for about a week now. im just using a regular brush with black hair type bristles on 1 side and what seem to be plastic rake type bristles on the other.

thats odd for her to become a guard dog. Merlin would probably let someone maul me to death and lick them afterwards lol. Then again i dont know that because nobody has been aggressive towards me in front of him

yup after the 2nd bed, i came to the thought that merlin will chew anything he can due to separation anxiety so no bed for him as i do have to work lol

merlin was 13.5 pounds at 9 weeks and i thought he was super small but i just had him weighed and at 5 months and 1 week he is 45 pounds. i wouldnt worry too much

Any tips on how to get him to either like it or get used to it? The bigger he is getting the harder it is to keep him still...

thank you. yeah he still seems a bit lanky but is putting on weight quickly. He turned 4 months on the 9th. we weighed him at the vet on the 3rd and he was right around 30-31 pounds. hes probably put on another 5 pounds since then give or take. Greg, i havent measureed yet but will be trying to do so this evening

after seeing zev's picture i feel better. haha i thought merlin was odd having such big ears. now i know hes not the only one. btw are the withers the shoulders? i want to be sure were to measure from and to.
