  1. i'm sure its not a phantom pregnancy, she's alawys beena snuggly affectionate puppy who loved to snugle her toys its just getting a little worse, she's loosing a bit of weight (she needed to) and everything else is normal ) xx
  2. she's not been spayed yet as her first season went on for months and we were told it was best to wait till she had had a 'proper' season before spaying, she was at the vets a week and a half ago all if fine in them sences, its weird in the sence that I have been getting broody too anyways she had a full examination and all that then so all is okay in that sence i mentioned it to him but he said that some dogs are just 'mothering' she's the same with little kids, will go from being her usual 1year old puppy bouncing off the walls like a mad hatter, to being supped calm, supper gentle, one kid even once gently pulled her ear but she didnt mind, she's even gotten on little boy over his fear of dogs xx
  3. thanks, she's just been wormed and had flea stuff. we only live seconds from the fox field and no cars around so not majorly unsafe, can practically see the front door from the field. she stuck to the paths and crossed at our usual places, last time she killed anything she just ripped its head off ( pheasant, small bird and seagull) but this was whole, broken neck but whole, she was very careful with it. could this mean anything? she's been very motherly lately,(DEFO NOT PREGNANT!) just VERY mothering, even stole my first teady took it to bed and 'washed' it, and snuggles it. carried it very carefully, etc... x
  4. was just walking bella when she left the fox field on her own a headed home, managed to get the lead on her at the front door to find a PIGEON in her mouth, not sure if she killed it or found it but it wasnt long dead .. have any of your dogs done this? dont know what to do about it? she did 'leave' it when asked but wasnt happy when we took it away, Growling, barking, took most of my strength to keep her at bay whilst my mum took it away.
  5. the last pics i posted of bells was when she was 0-6 months... she's grown a little since... the first pic was bonfire night these 2 are showing the difference since my last post sleepies...
  6. Hey all, I was just wondering if there was anyone near Maldon in Essex, or Neal Chelmsford.... We will be moving there on Sunday and it would be nice to know there are some huskies about that area x
  7. When Eight Below was on the TV last Christmas Bella had only been with us a few days but she sat and watched the whole thing. She was not happy when the sealion or whatever it was was eating thier food.. she kept growling at it.. and when mia(i think that was her name) was injured she sat a cried and tried to get into the TV.. great flm..
  8. Bella will put her head under her blanket if the lights are not switched off by about 10pm xx
  9. In that picture, she is watching a wolf program on bbc iPlayer lol
  10. yeah my mum wanted a dark brown puppy, she had a name and everything.. but Bella came up to us and just tapped us and then jumped on my knee... My mum was too interested in the brown one at first... but then Bella and her sister, the only other one with the light colouring.. undid my mums laces and they both took one each and crossed them over round the back... we nearly had Bella sister as well but had to wait till the next pay day we said that if she was still there that morning we would get in the car and go and get her... unfortunately she had be taken to a lovely home the night before we are looking to get another... rescue most likely.. bell is accommodating to all dogs and lets them just walk in... sorry for the blabb.. p.s. i have been on the site since jan and have been to husky camp in wales...but my iPad dose not let me upload photos and I have got access to a computer this week so i just uploaded some - finally
