  1. Can't believe my little man is 2 today! Going to get special birthday treats today!! Happy birthday Oscar!
  2. I am exactly the same! I feel bad but they have been out in the garden eating ice lollies, being watered down and sticking to the shade! It's not always convenient to take them out early morning or late in an evening but as long as they are getting love and attention that is all that matters at the minute! At least you're not taking them out in the middle of the day for walks like I have seen sooo many people doing grrr, but thats for another thread! Don't feel guilty!
  3. My three all love the rain. It can be absolutely belting down and they wont go in for love nor money!
  4. There is something very satisfying taking your pups out for their first walk isnt there! Beautiful boy!
  5. Awe he is gorgeous, I'm a little bit (a lot) in love!
  6. All three of mine are super sloppy! Oscar just randomly puts his nose right in the water and splashes it every where!! Mine drop their food on the floor too, Well Maddie and Oscar do, but Oscar also takes three biscuits, always 3, and puts them on the other side of the room or the garden depending on where they are eating and leaves them until he has finished (unless Maddie gets there first!) Bit strange!!
  7. Maddie hates puddles and will do anything to avoid them but show her water she can swim in and she is off no stopping her and she only comes out when she is ready! Oscar will paddle and have a little swim but prefers to belt around the edge of the water! Poppy not been introduced to water yet so that will be fun when she is!
  8. Thanks Olivia, I can honestly say it's not bad breath they are surprisingly 'ok' to be near in that department!
  9. I shall have a see about the baby powder and see if that helps! I check ears, teeth etc regularly and not noticed anything but will have a double check!
  10. Its just the typical 'doggy' smell that is more overpowering when all three are in at once! They are predominantly outdoor dogs and do insist on standing out in the rain which doesnt help at all!! I've tried some spray and I think it smells lovely, Oscar goes nutty when he sees the bottle starts rolling all over like a loon!! But I just need something a little more effective!
  11. Can anyone give me any ideas how to make my furbabies smell a little bit sweeter? As it's still not really warm enough to bath them properly I would like to try and make them smell better than they do without giving them a full on bath! I have tried dry shampoo spray which works for all of 5 minutes and have no idea what else I can try! Any ideas?
  12. Oscar goes when I let him out to bed, he isn't really fussed but Maddie will walk around the living room a few times then sit at the door to go out. If I don't get up when she wants me to she walks back and comes and lays her head on my knee. Poppy only realises she needs to go when I get up to let Maddie out, then it becomes a mad rush to get out of the door!!
  13. Maddie is exactly the same 'shape' as Angel. When we have taken her to the vets they have said that she is fine. She weighs about the same as yours as well! She can be picky with her food but seems to have settled on one at the minute. She looks especially scrawny at the minute as she has just blown her coat. Maddie seems perfectly happy, has been wormed, is very active and eats, eats, eats. Not all dogs are the same and Maddies sisters are the same build as her too! I wouldn't worry too much
