Luka has a stuff less raccoon that he adores. He will sometimes sleep with it. Funny enough it's for a fully grown large dog so it's his length hahah. Not to mention I didnt plan on buying it but he dragged it off the shelf at the pet store and got it so covered in slobber I didn't have a choice lol oh well he loves it

[ATTACH]47661[/ATTACH] Hi I'm luka!! I live in mississippi with my Mom and dad. I'm 12 weeks old and full of energy! I like to go on walks and smell everything! I watch animal planet while mommy is at work but when she gets home we play with my tennis ball and my stuffed raccoon. I have a love for toilet paper rolls ( you know the brand new ones with all the white stuff on it) but mommy isn't very happy when I shred them all over the house! Cant figure out why though, she Knows I'm a snow dog deep down and I'm just recreating snow I'm crate trained but I sleep in my mommy's bed every night because she is so nice.

Thank you for sharing your experience! That's kind of what I was thinking. I feel like in a way it would benefit luka and me at the same time. Not to mention to give a sweet fur baby a home.

I'll post some pictures but honestly I don't feel as though he's too skinny. I can feel his ribs when I touch him but they're not protruding out. I'm feeding him three times per day and the past few days I've been feeding him a cup in the am, a 1/2 cup in the afternoon, and another cup that night and he's been sick. I cut out the 1/2 cup and he's fine. I guess I could get a 2nd opinion. I'm just stressed I thought he was fine. He weighs 14 lbs I think I'll have to check hi records to make sure.

So luka is Almost 12 weeks now and I'm having some issues with his feeding. I took him to the vet for his third set of shots and the vet told me he was too skinny. Now, my vet does own a husky x gsd but is there any chance he could be mistaken? I feed luka two cups a day which I know is a little less than the bad recommends but if I even increase it by 1/4th of a cup he has diarrhea. He plays hard all day and acts fine. I'm wondering if I need to add chicken and rice to his diet or switch his food or what? If I feed him 2 cups he's fine but I don't want to be underfeeding him. (he's on totw btw) Any advice?

Thanks everyone for the advice! I'm de enjoying luka right now but I just want to make the best decision for him and our new pack member! Like I said the next few months are out of the question but we will see after that!

Luka loves the bathtub! it's pretty humorous watching him try to climb in there. well except for the one time he pooped in there. wasn't a fan of that Gibson is adorable btw!

My vacuum broke yesterday finally. It had been passed down from my grandmother lol and it was OLD. I'm sure you all know "gonetothesnowdogs" from YouTube and after much debate I purchased a Bissel lift-off multi cyclonic pet vacuum. Shelby (one of their huskies), is actually on the box! It's awesome and totally geared for shedding. It actually includes a brush that attaches to the hose you can use on your dog. I'm a fan and it was worth the price tag at target.
