I didn't notice any progress with Luka while I ignored him for the longest time. Then it started paying off. We went into obedience class and it continued to get better. Him getting older has also helped. I had a really hard time with him and my boyfriend because he acted awful (always nipping his hands,etc.) with him but not with me. I had to let them spend time together and get to the point where Luka respected Josh, not only me. I know you're the major caretaker of her so I doubt that's really a problem though. However, regardless if she's being rough intentionally or not, her nipping you (where it's causing you pain) is not acceptable. If luka gets too rough he gets a stern "Enough". Now at his current age if he accidently nips me he automatically releases my hand and starts licking me to apologize. lol I love my dogs but at the end of the day they aren't going to nip me where it hurts me or knock me over running around like total lunatics.

that's what i did. i had bricks in this big hole that luka did connecting to our neighbor's yard. i filled it and now it's not an issue. now if i could just figure out how to fill the holes in the middle of my yard :/

i can't take credit for it lol the rescue i work with gave me the idea.

No i don't quick-crete the whole fence. just where holes are. you then cover it with dirt and grass will go back. you could ask your landlord but honestly he'd never know.

treatment has been pushed back to next week because the rescue is literally overflowing with dogs right now. so my buddy gets one more weekend at the dog park before he has to chill

i buy quick cement and fill the holes under the fence line that way it's not expensive and it prevents them from being dug up again. honestly, i just don't leave Luka or Knox in the backyard without being out there though. i find that to be the easiest solution. i can tell them to stop digging if i'm out there.

i hope Suka is okay. keep us updated! I'm fortunate Luka is pretty good about not eating random stuff. Knox on the other hand would eat rocks if i'd let him.

Advice on exactly how to care for him? I'm aware that he needs to remain calm and not run around like a loon. Am I even supposed to walk him? I know the rescue will give me some advice but I want to be fully prepared.
