yeah he's taking care of Luka while i'm at camp luckily. I wasn't too worried about that though, if he refused he was going to the director of our husky rescues house haha she had already made room. it would've been like husky camp for him as she owns 8!

Al some of those words I don't even use! My grandparents use the term "britches" but it's a little old school for me. I just simply say pants. Undergarments are underwear. Also, I agree I've never said "loose meat" i say ground beef. ground turkey. ground chicken. etc. i've heard the term boiler, exp. in old basements but generally say water heater. lol love to hear the diff. terms. it's also true that someone who lives in new york says different things than what i say down here in mississippi

that's already been discussed. I would never allow him to be rehomed with anyone but me. haha also, if either of us goes on vacation the other will take whichever dog.

i loved being on my own. obviously, i still do. my mom is my best friend but you couldn't pay me to move back in with her lol. my relationships with my family have actually strengthened with me moved out.

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I've had a lot on my plate the past few weeks. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I decided that we weren't working out and since we live together I am moving out. We're still friends and on really good terms. There aren't any hard feelings and who knows maybe one day we will work it out. We just know for now it's not possible. Anyways, this brings me to the worst part about the whole situation. Knox. My boyfriend has decided he wants to keep Knox. I kind of knew this was a possibility but honestly I never thought we would be in this situation. Luka will obviously be with me, there isn't even a question of that. He said I can see him whenever I want but it's not the same. If i take both it would be extremely selfish and it would make our relationship end on bad terms. He loves Knox just as much as I do. I seriously am devastated at not having Knox around anymore. Not to mention how it will affect Luka. I mean they are best friends. Everybody has told me I need to get a second dog but honestly I feel like I'm just replacing Knox and I can't do that. So basically this is the thread where I am feeling sorry for myself.

Never used one as I use a WYDWL harness and it works wonders with Luka. I'm not a big fan of walking with a collar anyways it strains their neck too much, IMO. However I consider myself lucky because Luka doesn't really pull that bad haha. Knox on the other hand sheesh

i'd go to court over my dogs but that's just me. i'd also probably wind up in jail for kicking the person's a** that tried to steal my dog. but then again i don't leave my dogs unsupervised so no worries

They've interviewed multiple of their classmates and the 19 year old was very well liked, athletic, good grades, and known as being "cool." definitely not an outcast.

As far as my Luka goes, i've never seen a female with the name. I've always thought Suka was a male as well just because i assume if he was a female it'd be more like Suki. I do however, like Elyse deal with most people assuming Luka is a girl. Whether or not this has to do with his name, i'm not sure. I think he's just too pretty On another note, I deal with this issue regarding my name all the time. I've always been called Alex my whole life but when it comes to writing emails at my job or even chatting online here i have to write out Alexandra so people will know i'm female.

most rescues don't allow changing over the microchip because if they ever get lost or wind up in a shelter the rescue will be the first party contacted. it may be your dog but every good rescue has clauses in their contracts which require you return the dog if you can't keep them. this just makes it easier for them to track them.

i go by the date rescued for Knox. it's so iffy when they tell age but they do tell by teeth. Bexley is between 2-4. First vet said 4, now they say 2.

haha no worries gary! i like that he's protective but he can't guard me from other dogs. it will just make it where i won't be able to take him anywhere. i'm working with a friend on recall after he recovers from his surgery. yeah, 6 months is when they suggest it here. Actually, a lot of rescues will do neuters before that age even. Luka was neutered at 7 months and it was no big deal. I'd prefer earlier than later.
