I'm getting Sera Wednesday!! Yay! They're coming to do a home check which is no big deal as my house and yard are husky proofed already!! Woohoo I'm thrilled!

I brush Lukas once a week with vanilla flavored toothpaste I got from our local pet store. I also use the finger brush. If he's losing teeth it's smart to start now so he will get used to it. It keeps their gums and teeth healthy and prevents infections.

i got Luka done at 7 months... didn't want to wait any longer

i feed Luka 2 cups per day. I actually fed him less when he was small or he would have the runs. I bought a slow feeder bowl and it helped loads. just keeps them from swallowing it whole. puppies always eat really fast

it's no big deal. it'll go quick and easy. Luka didn't even have to wear a cone

here i was thinking that all huskies sleep in and cuddle like Luka...

No no no you're not coming off any bad way. actually it makes a lot more sense now that you've explained it that way. It was hard for me to reason I guess because I can't imagine rehoming. As I've never had to. Lol it's okay I think it's his name. Well that and he's so pretty people always think he's a girl haha I hope he finds him a good home but he wasn't neutered and I don't know him an Luka would get a long or anything so I'd much prefer to go through a rescue

I'm no help because Luka is the exact opposite. I grab his harness and he runs right to me practically begging me to put it on him. Lol he loves going out so he gets excited

Well that's the thing we didn't talk awhile.. Maybe 3 minutes tops if even that. Which in my opinion is not a long enough time to judge If I'm a suitable owner. I do agree I have a husky but how many bad owners do as well? I understand that by me taking my dog to the park, Luka being well groomed and healthy it's easy to conclude I'm a suitable owner but wouldn't be enough for me. Like I said it was all his questions that weirded me out. Also, Luka is a male lol Sorry I think you misread my post. He said a lot of people DO like huskies as in he hasn't tried yet but he knows he could rehome him easily.

The fact that you're putting your feelings aside and your dogs ahead shows that you care about them. I don't know much about rehoming but I too would consider a rescue. They would find the best place for your dogs!

Yeah if he had just even asked me if Luka was purebred and left it at that I would've not thought twice. But to say are you sure? Do you have papers? Are you sure he's not a hybrid? I was like uhhh.... If I had to rehome Luka I just think I would've gone about it in a different way.
