i wish i knew the metric system. sometimes the US is so stupid. i know parts of it but i have to cheat to know what i'm talking about. mississippi weather is annoying. It will be 70F one day then the next day its 28F. My sinuses are always messed up because of the back and forth weather. it never makes up it's mind!!!

Luka stays in his for 8 hours while I'm at work. I work almost an hour away so it's impossible to let him out on my lunch and he's fine. I give him plenty of toys and leave the lights and tv on. He's usually waking up when I get home haha

i've thought about switching mine to Acana actually since Luka is about to be off puppy food. It's just as good of quality as Orijin but cheaper and less protein. My vet is supposed to "recommend" science diet but he never does. he said totw, acana, or orijin are all great food choices. *EDIT* oh and i feed Luka 2 cups a day of Fromms Gold Large Breed currently and he weighs 43 lbs but he's only 11 months so hopefully he will fill out some

Thanks for this list! I don't have Luka on a raw diet so cooked food options are great to know! Just a quick question about eggs though, I was under the impression that raw eggs were safe to give but you mentioned biotin deficiency? i only want to give Luka what is safe for him but i have given him a raw egg a couple of times so i was just curious. Luka loves popcorn

You weren't. My opinion has just really changed since I found Knox and the condition he was in. I've stated a few times on here I will never purchase another dog.

Put it this way, millions of dogs die every year and it breaks my heart that i can't save them all therefore i REFUSE to add to that problem. Luka is neutered and Knox will join him when he turns 6 months. I love Luka and his personality but I won't breed him to have another dog just like him. I'd prefer that after he crosses the rainbow bridge that I rescue a dog that doesn't have a home and doesn't know how it feels to be loved. Nothing is more enjoyable than that feeling. It's just hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of breeding without being a professional right now. We are seriously in over our heads with the dog population right now.
