i just try not to think about it too much honestly. if i go to the enclosed dog park with Luka i make sure i watch him at all times just like i would if i had a child playing at a playground. on walks i keep a firm hold of his lead and if someone were to take him they'd have to pry my dead fingers off of it first. Lastly, like everyone else has mentioned i make sure he's chippped, that it's updated at all times, and he also has his tag with my information. I also went ahead and put his microchip tag on his collar because if the vets are closed someone can call the number on it and they will give them my information.

while i agree that the breeder contracted them to give her puppy back and doesn't really owe them money, the reality is that the contract doesn't usually hold up and once the puppy has been purchased there's not a lot the breeder can do usually. and i would probably just be glad that the new owners who obviously weren't good ones gave the puppy back as they could have sold him/her easily.

honestly, if i were in her position i'd prob at least give them some type of financial compensation to get them off my back and not try to come after the puppy. (like steal it)

well i'm no help because Luka hates cats. He goes INSANE and will do about anything to get to them. it's a good thing i'm allergic and will never own one.

i hope it works out. hell would freeze over before my bf would get Luka. and that's really all there is to it. haha
