Luka doesn't really know how to play with small dogs as he isn't around them much. I'd think it would work out much better to get a puppy husky and socialize them early.

i would def inform other people of how they treat their employees. and take ALL of your clients with you wherever you go

yeah we've only switched food one time and that was when Luka was a little puppy. It was too much protein for him and he did much better with Fromms. I expect him to go off his food for a while but i'm talking he isn't eating normally in over 2 weeks.

Luka is over 7 months and he only eats 2 cups per day

Yeah, I just did it last Friday. It went great. Only thing is he was just as annoying as usual literally the NEXT day. It didn't even slow him down for 24 hours. His stitches dissolve on their own and he's basically fine now. Tiny little incision. Very pleased with how it went, The benefits of having it done definitely outweighed the Cons. We were also very lucky and Luka didn't mess with it one time so he didn't have to wear the cone of shame. Now if i can just get him to eat, he looks like he's wasting away. probably! i fed Luka about 1 1/2 cups per day on TOTW or he had runny stools as opposed to him eating 2 cups of Fromms per day now.

Luka will be 46 lbs.... he's already at 40.... so small lol he's like skin and bones right now

Luka is back to not eating, and i don't mean the usual Husky skipping meals not eating. I mean really starting to just not eat, like he would rather go hungry. Unfortunately, I think i'm going to have to switch his food AGAIN. This would happen after i just bought a giant bag of Fromms. He started out on TOTW and all he got from it was runny stools. Do you think now that he is older he would do different on it? Should i continue to keep him on a food he barely touches and he's been losing weight? I want a grain-free food and i don't want something cheap, i want something QUALITY. opinions?

At the end of the day only YOU can change things for yourself. I think it was a great suggestion to use Jelly to focus on, instead of playing games online. I'm probably not very sympathetic simply because i don't play online games but i do sometimes go overboard on Husky-Owners. haha. The bottom line is playing on the internet is fun, but my life is way more fun. If i had my eyes glued to a screen all the time i would miss out on the truly wonderful things that happen every day in my life. Take your dog on a walk and give the computer a rest. After awhile i think you will come to realize what you've been missing.

yeah we don't hunt enough to feed them year round. We have a small hunting season and we pretty much eat the meat if we get any. i just feel like i'd give Luka the wrong thing or something. it makes me nervous, not because i don't think its good for them simply because i don't know what im doing haha

it just seems like every article i read has a different opinion so it makes me nervous and not sure of what to believe.

well my boyfriend and I actually do hunt so that would be helpful. i just don't know enough about it. like what to feed, what not to feed, how long it lasts, portion size, etc. i've tried reading about it but i just wind up confused

i would never feed a husky the amount recommended on the bag. they eat WAY less than that! i had the same problem with TOTW though, i think sometimes it can be too much protein.

that is interesting! I feed Luka Large Breed Puppy Gold. They also offer Small Breed Adult/Puppy Gold which would be good for a yorkie. The gold line has some grain but it's not necessarily bad for them, Luka couldn't handle straight protein. However, I want to switch him to Fromms Grain-Free Salmon Tunalini or Fromms Grain-Free Seafood Melody when he gets bigger.
