Not sure how she hasn't heard of it, it's one of the best dog foods they offer. i do understand it being possibly too much protein though, i had to take Luka off of Taste of the Wild and switch him to Fromms because he had runny stools. Also, Did you gradually transition him to his new food? It will upset his sensitive stomach if you just immediately switch him.

update: luka's pretty much almost completely healed up. his stitches will dissolve on their own. He is back to being extremely annoying but it's just not the same without his loud self running around. I've tried to keep him chilled out but he apparently feels fine and his wound looks really good so no issues there. Also, he hasn't messed with it at all so he didn't have to wear the Cone of Shame. such a good boy!

Unfortunately he's back to his old ways today. It's been SO hard trying to keep him still. He wants to play and run. Ugh

Yes it went fine. He's in some pain and also very dramatic so you would think he's had a major precedure. I'm having issues getting him to lay down he just keeps pacing not running or anything just won't stop walking around.

honestly i could care less. if i spent my life concerned with what celebrities did i wouldn't have time for my life. i like his music, and no offense to you but i don't think of Tacoma as a crappy place because of it. The city i grew up in has been on A&E 48 Hours more times than i can count and it makes our city look horrible because of all the crime.

I actually like him. I appreciate all music whether it be auto tuned pop, country, or metal. Besides the media is full of crap most of the time

I won't lie Luka is badly behaved as far as jumping all over you when he sees you and then acts insane. Never been aggressive though, and i've never seen a husky that is. (not that there are many here anyways)

i can't believe they didn't check for a microchip. what's the point in having one if shelters aren't going to check for it!?

Question: how long does it typically take them to recover? I'm off tomorrow but when is it safe to crate him? I'm just so paranoid about the whole thing.

my biggest worry is him being put under anesthesia. i think he will recover pretty quickly, i will TRY to keep him calm because he acts like a maniac most of the time. yeah i believe our vet is sending us home with some pain meds but if he doesn't need them we won't use them. luckily the vet is like 5 minutes away tops!

tomorrow is the day! i'm nervous

i use a 33 lb bag of kibble and luka gets 2 cups every day and it lasted us from August 16th to October 2nd if that helps. (1 month and 16 days) that was exact calculation because i use a frequent buyer card so i can tell when i bought the kibble.

luka sniffs at his food and leaves it without touching it. at the end of the day he eats when he is hungry. i'm not going to worry myself over him at this point. he's in good health and it's quality food. he'll eventually eat it. your dog is going to eat eventually, it's not going to starve itself. orijin is a GREAT food so i wouldn't worry.

when Marley and Me came out my sweet golden retriever was in very bad health. my family went and saw it the week after christmas in theaters... we all cried. i've never watched it again and don't plan on it. oh and [MENTION=3404]SolitaryHowl[/MENTION] homeward bound was my favorite movie as a kid! shadow, chance, and sassy... loved them.
