i love Christmas but at the same time i love halloween! so i would prefer not to look at christmas decorations until after thanksgiving but i have to admit i start listening to christmas music in november hehe i just love it! not to mention my birthday is in december so its a good month for me!

Wow I've never thought about this! I feel so irresponsible! I'm getting Luka a new tag on Tuesday! All his has on it is his name and my phone number. He does have his rabies tag with our vet's info on it. Laws aren't very strict over here, they just have to have a rabies tag. So opinions on what I should include anybody? He's getting chipped next Saturday so I think I'd love to include I'm chipped on it for starters

Lol he's a couch and bed hog. Sometimes he wakes me up and acts like he needs to go out just so he can steal my spot in the bed. Lol so spoiled

I'm taking luka to petsmart and our trainer loves him! He gives us special training tips as opposed to the other dogs in there lol because we have a husky. He doesn't even mind when Luka talks throughout the whole class. He works great with the other dogs but he also always gives Luka some special attention. He said he's worked with quite a few of the breed.

Oh I love goldens! I had a beautiful male growing up. He was an amazing dog. I'm sure they will keep a very watchful eye over the new puppy! Can't wait to see pics!

I wish you the best with your puppies! I hope the situation gets better for you ! I woul like to point out although you may be 18 its still considered young. Im 22 about to be 23 and even though I live on my own and have been supporting myself fully for well over a year i no way consider myself as mature or grown up as even a 30 year old. You have no idea how much will change for the next 4 years of your life.

Don't refund me either! I know you'll use the money in a good way!

They emailed me back! The only issue was that Luka is not neutered yet but I explained to them he's about to be so its not that much of an issue! The director of the rescue is calling me tomorrow to discuss everything!! Yay!! They were very glad I am knowledgable about the breed so I look like a good candidate!

As some of you know recently I've posted a few threads regarding different breeds and myself and my boyfriend arguing over what our second family member would be. Well I was on Facebook yesterday and I follow our local husky rescue. A male husky is suddenly up for adoption. Everything about him screamed he was the right match for us! Little Nikko is a year old black and white with blue eyes. (The appearance helped me convince Josh since that's his favorite husky look) he's great with other dogs and kids. (Not that we have any but maybe one day lol) I just knew I needed to give him a home.i got the courage to talk to the boyfriend (okay more like beg) and he really didn't put up a fight. Smart man! He said he knew he would lose with me anyways and after looking at a pic I knew he liked him! Lol not to mention I reminded him how it would be easier to not have to deal with potty training and all the other things that come along with a puppy! Anyways by no means is he ours YET. I just filled out an application and wrote a long email why we were the right home for him. So wish us luck that we get a home visit! I'm dying to meet him! Fingers crossed! Here's a picture! My luka plays fetch with us all the time lol he seems to enjoy it
