Well i'm officially moved in! I am working on the house (painting, etc.) so as soon as that is all done i'll post pics in this thread! The dogs are LOVING their new backyard and their new house. I get to go home for lunch now (which i love) so they get a nice break in the middle of the day to play. It also takes less time for me to get home in the evenings and i leave later in the mornings. All that means more time with them The Ex has contacted me 2 times about Knox and the last time I finally just told him no, that Knox was settled and that if he really wanted him he wouldn't have waited 2 weeks to get a hold of me. I told him the bottom line is that Knox loves Luka more than he loves either of us and it would be unfair to separate him. He said fine and then went on to say how awful of a person I am... etc. etc. I honestly don't even think he wants him back i think it's an excuse for talking to me. Unfortunately for him, I changed my phone number and my facebook is still deactivated so he has no means of contacting me. I have also put an alert on my account at the vet and now no one can ask for any information regarding the dogs besides me. Overall, I'm so happy. It's so less stressful. AND i'm plotting for one day when I can add my second husky because there isn't anyone around to say no anymore! haha

it was easier for me when i got a second dog, moving to 3 was hard as i learned when i fostered! good luck!

i'm so sorry storm. i was fortunate to find a place fast but i still spent 2 weeks at my parents then a friends with 2 stressed out dogs. All i can tell you is that when you move into your place you're going to be SO relieved and so will the dogs. i'm sorry he's being such a douche, and i can honestly say i totally understand because i was in your position. if i weren't so far away i'd let you come stay with me. hope this works out FAST.

luka skips meals and then sometimes eats like there's no tomorrow. i feed him only 2 cups per day and he's over a year. huskies don't eat a ton.

Unfortunately, that's another person giving pitties a bad rep. My two love the dog park but one thing that makes me mad is people bringing their small dogs in to the large dog side. Don't be offended when my dog hurts yours or plays too rough because you can't follow the rules. Luckily, for the most part i don't have any issues.

i switched Luka to a year. Knox i Switched at 10 months because he was trying to eat all Luka's food anyways. They're both on Canidae Pure Sea.

people approach luka pretty often. they generally ask if they can pet him or if he is a wolf first. knox gets just as much attention too lol it's because he's so cute i think

i'm dying at 52 apparently... it could be worse i suppose ha

Bottom line is EVERYONE deserves better than to be a doormat. Excuse me for just chiming in, i was behind on reading posts. I loved my life for the most part with Josh, it was great coming home to someone every day, and not sleeping in an empty bed. But now that we're not together I realize I've pretty much been single for awhile. He let me go to the UK by myself and didn't even seem bothered by it. He never went out with me or had conversations with me. I may be alone and having to start all over by myself but i realize that i've got myself to depend on and honestly that's all i need. i'll find someone one day (in no rush obviously lol) and that person will get me but until then i plan on living my life and having fun. Don't stay in an unsatisfying relationship because it's comfortable, that's my advice.

Agreed from someone else who has to start all over by myself. it was comfortable and i cared about him but i wasn't happy.

my ex and i used to joke about this as well. now we're at this point and i have both of the dogs. lol guys are emotional whether or not they admit it. he probably was in a bad mood and took it to heart for once.

when i move in i will take pics lol. it's super cute. haha i'm in the bottom part of tn in memphis yeah i'm not giving knox back

got the lease sent over and i move in tomorrow my boys are going to love it! oh and on another note ex is calling me about Knox after i haven't heard from him in a week.... ugh

Knox yawns constantly but considering he's been moved 2wice in the past week I would assume it's stress related. One more move and i can get him settled. poor baby bully.

well ... i loved it! wait till i take pictures of this backyard.... OMG. it's HUGE. AND the owner lived here previously and has installed a new tall privacy fence and it has chicken wire underneath so luka can't escape! it's like it's meant to be. I'm supposed to be getting the lease today if all goes well. i'm so excited. i'll take pictures when i move in and all that this weekend.
