    Pomskies

I know!!! Doing it on purpose!! It's ridiculous, just care about a quick money making scheme!! and want "designer dogs"

    Pomskies

soo browsing around on Facebook at some of the various husky/dog related groups I'm on & I think some people have lost the plot! Someone is breeding "pomskies" husky X Pomeranians! No consideration of the health issues, future problems & care of the dogs! Silly people. rant over lol
  5. I live with my parents & we have storm our 7 month old husky. Was my choice to have a dog. at first my mum was quite reserved & abit nervous about Storm as she had never owned dogs & was generally quite scared of them. My dad on the other hand loved dogs! But now my mum loves him the most! Which I'm very lucky & grateful they care for him just as much as I do! only thing she doesn't like is there hair everywhere .. oooops!! lol
  6. thanks for that advice! I'll give it a go! It's very soft biting but does get progressively more wild as he gets excited but I'll keep it up! lol wish me luck haha
  7. okay this may seem like a stupid question, so bear with me lol .. what age should puppies stop play biting? Storm is almost 6 months & still play bites a little when he gets super excited. Should he have stopped this by now? or is it normal? we do the usual thing of isolating him if he starts it & gets carried away, as the whole yelping thing & ignoring never worked, just makes him do it more. thanks guys!!
  8. Thank you for the brilliant advise! The whole idea of having "his toys" and giving them to his as special kind of toys sounds great! I'll keep it up & let you know how everything goes
  9. thanks for all the great feedback!! I got the Link aswell Nick! think I may have to get one! already got a front leading harness so he can use that if my mum or dad need to walk him without being pulled over lol
  10. aww she looks stunning in her harness!!! what a looker!! .. the harnesses' look the bees knees!! lol storm is almost 6 months is it too early to get him one you think? are they quite adjustible? Sorry to fire a volley of questions at you lol I'm glad it's escape proof, well seems near enough lol
  11. I gather from various websites/forums/facebook groups that the Julius K9 harness' are very good, however is it likely that I'll get pulled over like I've got a steam train attached to my arm? lol do they do anything to cut out any pulling, I'm aware the lead clips on from the back so I'm guessing they can use maximum shoulder husky power lol. Any feedback much appreciated
  12. thank for the advise!! I've been doing the trading method now, I'll make sure to consistently keep it up
  13. Hello all!!!! I've not posted on here in months!! been too busy with my fur ball! I promise pictures will come up soon!!!! lol Storm is now almost 6 months & he's a bundle of joy I just have one query about guarding, he will guard things like his bones carrots and chews, he lets you stroke him whilst he's having & if you want him to move or if it's his bed time he'll happily run away from it and do what he's told, it's just sometimes if I try to take it off him he really guards these things like growl.. Growl louder.. Snarl.. Then if I still try and take it a warning bite.. This may sound like a stupid question, but bear with me as I'm a first time dog owner, although experienced with huskies(gf had one for years) lol .. Is it okay just to leave him to behave like this or will it cause a bigger problem? He's fine with people touching him just trying to take it away from him. Thanks guys!!
