  1. If our dogs behaved the way children do these days they would have been taken away as menaces.
  2. Blood sugar can factor. A trip to a good chiropractor should help too. See if you can find one that does muscle testing, you would be surprised what they can figure out by poking and prodding at you!
  3. She was probably just jealous 'cause you had TWO!!!! I love meeting other huskies and their people, I never have to explain why my dog is such a spaz!
  4. Maybe a temporary stop for fighters.
  5. :chillpill: My boy likes quiet time next to me. If I get a big cushion and sit on the floor he sacks out right next to me. If he isn't sleepy he will lay there and stare adoringly at my for hours. It's actually a little creepy!
  6. I know the feeling, I am my dog's personal sled
  7. Also eliminating a lot of the salt in your diet will drop your water weight. Not much fun but it works!
  8. Fun fun!!! And a break from doggie hair too- teehee! Have a wonderful time you lucky thing!
  9. I took Mischov camping and let him swim and play in the river for two days. It worked but somewhere downriver I'm sure there are fish wearing fur coats...
  10. Love the little beauties! One of the little girls markings looks like she was playing with mommy's eyeliner! Too adorable!

  12. Normal, I do it all the time! Normal or not normal - not getting up to get a drink even though you're dying of thirst because you don't want to disturb the dog..
  13. My hometown in Oregon has "Beachcomber Days", and for many years the annual Slug Races were a main attraction! What's worse than a slug in your salad? HALF a slug in your salad! Don't ask how I know that... !!!!
  14. Sofia and Zsa Zsa? They are both certainly beautiful! Marilyn and Audrey? !
  15. Yep, my house looks like a fur bomb went off. Now he looks like I starve him because he's not as fluffy!
  16. When I got my boy he cried the minute I tried to crate him to take him home! He would scream for hours and finally I found if I put him in for short bursts and sat next to the crate he was fine. I gradually would spend less time but make sure he could see me still. Then I would leave but check in on him every so often. Once he realized I wasn't abandoning him the crate was ok! I'm not tough enough to let him cry- I am so owned!
  17. What a beautiful girl! She certainly likes to pose for the camera!
  18. Will neutering my husky help prevent certain cancers and other potential health risks? And is it a more dangerous procedure as he is 5 years old? Thoughts?
  19. Ok, getting frustrated. I live in a 4plex, and my downstairs neighbor's kids are causing my dog problems. Whenever I take him out the kids run up yelling and shoving each other to get to my dog. They are not supposed to approach him without permission and he gets freaked out with a bunch of little kids pawing at him. I'm worried he'll knock one over or even nip and who could blame him? They range from 3-9 years old and I have talked to the parents many times. When a parent is out there they get a half-hearted "leave the dog alone" but 95 percent of the time the kids are left ALONE for hours! Short of a word to Social Services, which I don't want, how can I keep the little (grrrrr) darlings away from my dog? I feel like biting the parents!!!!

She is adorable. I love the little pink spot on her nose, is that a kiss target?!
  21. Whatever time off my dog allows me is spent reading( bless the Kindle), or playing in the kitchen. I love to cook and bake, and now I'm beginning to understand the computer I spend hours researching, adapting, and creating recipes. I'm also working on starting a line of aprons and matching accessories. I want to look cute covered in flour!
  22. The fur never quits! Pretty soon you'll wake up with it stuffed up your nose, heehee! Gibson is adorable, I think he's the second most huggable husky I've ever seen, thanks for sharing!
  23. An amazingly handsome fellow! Congrats! I'm sure he'll have you trained in no time (insert evil laugh here)!
  24. So sad, the little girl that was killed has a mother that has been shot too. She's in intensive care. I think I'll be staying home watching cartoons with my dog now, safer than the movies!
  25. So blessed by my little monster!
