  3. Hi all. i know its been a while since i been on here, but been getting worried bout wolfie, he seems to be a bit iffy with my gf's little nice and nephew they are only 4, we were all out in the garden they were going near the trampoline kira was bout to get on and she was in front of my gf and wolfie nudged kira using his head and then more worringly we had a barbecue bearing in mind i was about a 1hr late with feeding him, the little ones kept going in and out with food. wolfie tried to sniff the meat then kira was trying to come outside wolfie was in the way was asked to move but didnt, as she went past wolfie he jumped up and nipped her on her face, i was in kitchen so didnt see what happened, luckily he didnt hurt her but could of been so different, i mean he did mark her a little and she was crying of course, i just dont understand why wolfie is doing this as he is normally so placid and laid back, and he is usually great around all, he is a rescue and dont really know too much about him, he is 3years old and i have had him about 17 months. I'm wandering if he is food orintated as he did this once before but to my sisters partner daughter but my sister was feeding him from a table full of food which is a big no no, any help would be much appreciated. I was thinking bout taking him to some obediance lesssons as i think its maybe me that needs training not wolfie
  4. Hi kerry, I have been feeding wolfie on totw the bison and the wetlands one, he seems to be doing fine, i did some digging and dont quote me on this but i read somewhere online that totw may contain a fish toxin that is very bad and has caused problems, i also looked on the dog food analysis website and there is a note on the bottom saying about a fish meal product which i think is called ethoxyquin and for some reason they say they cannot find anywhere on there website guaranteeing the use of ethoxyquin-free products, this seems to be on the bison and the wetlands. I wandered if anyone else had come across this as it has got me a little worried

  9. I'm trying to find a dry food for wolfie, i was feeding him orijen which he seemed to like but most of the time his pooh was loose, i then tried him on orijen fish which he seemed to like but has now gone completely off it unless i put something with it, he is 2 years old and not a working dog, i have been looking at wellness core as i have seen mentioned on here, totw and a few other brands but the only one i seem to be able to find is totw and there is only a couple of places which do that here in the uk, just wandered if anyone had ideas, i know a lot of people mention raw, but im not to sure bout it, i have been feeding him dry in morning and those blocks of meat from pets at home, any help would be much appreciated
