Her weight and development are absolutely fine. She wolfs her food down in the P.M pardon the pun.
Glad to know it's not just Rue that does this. And I also leave it down for just 15minutes when she's messing about.
Cheers guys
Hi guys just a quick question.
When I feed Rue in the morning she sits in the crate and initially looks at it. I feed her wainwrights puppy btw. She then tries to sneak in to me before I send her back to her crate where she is fed. She then runs back to her crate, eats some of it then the process starts again. This happens around twice in total before she eats it until she doesn't want anymore.
Other feeding times there is no problem at all at she eats it all without issue. It's just the morning.
Not everyone eats much in a morning so wondered if it was just a lack of hunger on her part. Does anybody else know why this may be?
Well Rue is 1 day shy of 4 months and getting bigger by the minute!
Had to literally drag her out of the house when it first snowed as she was probably wondering what the hell is this white, cold, wet stuff on the ground. Anyways she's slowly getting used to it so fingers crossed we get a little more. And hopefully she'll grow up to love it.
Anyways here she is just chilling on the back yard.
It's taken Rue a little while to get used to not having her sister and to get over what happened as she saw it. But she's almost back to normal thankfully.
Thankyou for all your kind words.
It is with great regret And guilt I post this as Mila has been the victim of an unfortunate tragic accident.
Around a week or so ago Mila and Rue have been out when they have jumped up resting onto a big wooden gate to have a look through as some people had caught their attention on the other side.
Unfortunately this gate has come loose from the wall and fallen onto Mila. Rue managed to get out of the way luckily. Mila was not so lucky and in the mad dash to the vets as she was covered in blood she has passed away on the way from internal bleeding.
Absolutely gutted and feel guilty I couldn't do anything to prevent it.
So sorry to hear about your loss. Seems he had a good and happy life so take comfort in that you were the reason for that. Never an easy thing to go through. Keep smiling.
Well yesterday I took the pooches out for the very first time bless em. I'd like to say it was a walk but it was more me pulling!
Anyways day two today and what a massive difference. There was the initial battle of pulling them out of the house and a couple of times when they made an attempt to lay and not move (only one winner) but other than that they walked and ran. Was well chuffed.
The only downside is I have used the harness connector with one lead and they seem to get tangled relatively frequently and the stronger of the two decides where and when they go. Debating whether just to have them on a lead each.
Overall progress!
I was told adding oil to food helps keep the huskies coat healthy and shiny. First of all I'd just want some clarity on this advice and if it is correct what are the best oils to use?
Thanks
