  1. Hi all just wanted to ask a question about weight. My beau is a year old and I got her weighed prior to worming. She weighs 15.7kg and she hasn't put much weight on I last four months. She eats well and excises a normal amount . Should I be worried about her weight or is it normal. To slow down. Thanks in advance
  2. Beau= girl= 15.7kg =1year old= owner=Tilly
  3. Beau has a dodge tummy too, we give her Frolics. She is mad for them and don't affect her pooping :-)
  4. Beau does not sleep with us she is down stairs in her crate. Although the crate door is always open. She knows when the alarm goes off it is wakey time and she comes upstairs. She waits to be invited on to the bed and she will sit there while we get ready, or for a cuddle at weekend . I'm a very cruel mummy and believe fuzzy butts should be down stairs. But saying that if my hubby was away I would be very tempted. :-)
  5. My beau is 7 months, we had similar issues so we don't play tugg games or chase. I always end up with the toy. Now this is going to sound so cruel and I want to reassure everyone who reads this that no one was hurt . (I read this and did it). Beau was getting very mouthy and time out did not work and I was worried she would do it to my children. When she nipped me I put her to the ground and layer on her , holding her mouth closed firmly m I looked into her eyes and firmly said no. I released her mouth but kept her on the ground till she did not struggle then I let her up. The secand time I just had to ground her and say no. I have had no nipping at all now. Water spray turn beau fruit loopy . In our family we don't believe in physical punishment, but we follow the pack rules. I'm the chief and beau is bottom. She eats last and is not aloud on sofas or beds. It sounds like I'm a cruel mummy for the above but I have a very happy , friendly and loving husky who 9 times out of 10 listens to me. I'm sure when she hits adolescent ill have more issues. Good luck keep strong
  6. Update Beau. Female. 15.15 . At 7months. Tilly.
  7. Hi all just after a little advice,. My 7 month old fuzzy butt beau , when she is sitting on my bed she chews her feet. I worried that she will make her pads sore. She does not do this unless she is on the bed. Thanks xx
  8. I cryed sooo much , my hubby has decided he must vet any films with fur baby's in first as I was in a right state.
  9. Shocked at all the fur bunnys in my house

  10. I have good back gound on beau and family history of hips and eyes are all fab. So would have no concern in that department. If u read my comment carefully u would know that breeding my baby is very low on my list of things to do in life. I was just stating that the idea of pups is nice but realistically I don't think I personally could allow that to happen to beau. I am on your side with the fact of lots of dogs need a home. Unfortunately it is not just my decision but hubby's as well. I never expected to be faced with a season as I still see her as too little. I have done my researcher both ways, and my husband is looking at it too. I think I have made my decision but I need to bring him around to my way of thinking. Please do not be concerned as I'm a sensible person and not interested in profit . I'm passionate about the breed and devoted to my beau. U are proberbly wondering which way I fall............ To spay ! :-)
  11. I think beau has started as there r fur bunnies every where. (Just hoovered). I brushed her in the garden, if it had not been covered in snow it would be white from hair. This is the first time I have experienced this and omg I under estimated the amount of hair
  12. Thanks for the tip everyone , my husband and myself are in discussion re spaying. Even though the idea of little fur babies melt my heart, the thought of the amount of poop, noise and homing them puts me off. I'm not a breeder , and know very minimal about preg huskys. ( I only know about the human variety lol). I have looked at many debates on this topic, and feel I will be able to make an informed decision . I'm now going to hide food in the garden, and I have invested in a kong. Thanks again everyone
  13. Hi all, My 6month sib , beau is in season. What I want to know is what did u do to entertain your sib while they r in season. We have toys and garden time but she still is not a happy bunny. What can I do to save my house being distroyed lol Thanks in advance
  14. This is beau and her first time in the snow
