  1. that story just warmed my heart.i still got a bit of Xmas shopping to do and im gonna add a wooly thermal hat and gloves and give them to the first needy homeless person i see, just made me think what a few ££££'s spent could make a big difference to someone in need, instead of say a box of chocolates as a little extra for someone.
  2. they gotta be kicked out of university,it has been named and shamed, and i think they can forget about a career in upholding the law,as they were clearly caught on camera.......guilty. that was just sick................
  3. she was treated for 2 weeks on a steroid eye ointment called Fucithalmic.Does anyone think maybe because she is in her first "season" it may be the reason her eyes havent healed,"hormones gone haywire".she has no discharge nor is she rubbing or scratching them. She has another 8 days left of her season,so im going to fone the vet if it hasnt cleared, and ask for a second opinion.
  4. my husky changed my life.......i dont have one now !!!
  5. Saurfang is 8mths old now and experiencing her first "season" she is on a gentle leader harness and a halti head collar and double lead, despite her training and walking to heel,it resembles walking "Buckaroo" as her hormones are raging and she wants loose, she is only getting short but frequent walks and it takes almost as long to get all her "gear" on.lets hope she goes back to being a "nice dog to walk"
  6. In a perfect world every home would have a dog and every dog..a home xx

thanks for that Mazz,i am a bit worried that her eyes havent cleared up after 2 weeks on medication, she isnt rubbing them nor are they inflamed, but the "inner eyelids" are red,was just wondering if anyone else has come across the same problem:)

  8. my previous dog was a german shepherd, attended obedience and training classes since 14 weeks old,was exceptional on and off the lead,at 16months old we went to our local park for his "run around" played with a few dogs, chased a few balls then he seemed to get aggressive with one dog in particular and chased it off, waited a few minutes for his return, but he never did..found out days later there was a bitch in season on the loose, despite posters in vet surgeries, supermarkets, even on the internet,we never got him back,so no matter how well you think your dog is trained, there is always "something" that will seem far more important. Our 8mth Husky gets off the lead surrounded by an 8ft fence.....and she has been trained too:(
  9. epic pic..talk about stealing the limelight !!!!!!
  10. my 8mth old female husky has conjunctivitus vet had her on steroid eye drops for 2 weeks but this hasnt helped,he has decided to just leave it(but contact him if her eyes start to discharge) her condotion started when she came into her first season, could this be connected ?
