I'm leaving hospital soon I think I'll go home to bed and have a sleep I'm so tired didn't get much sleep last night. I walked up the stairs twice with my crutches so I'm safe to go home I feel really light headed though so I have to be careful I think that's from not eating properly

Haha I'm the same one done stuff against there orders but this time I have to listen if I make it worse then I'll be worse off. My mum is coming down for 10 days on Sat she's a nurse so I'll get my butt kicked if i do the wrong thing Lol I'm walking a bit better today which is good

Thanks guys I am walking around a bit now still in a lot of pain I'm meant to get my other knee done as well at some point but I really don't want to at this point :'( Hoping to go home tomorrow I miss my bed, my dogs and my little man :'(

Thanks everyone two weeks then another 3-6 months of recovery not looking forward to it. I cant do much for phoenix which is making this harder the poor thing isn't sure about my leg

Figured I'd update I should be going home today. It hasn't been as bad as I thought minus the pain and the nurse hitting my leg on the chair this morning :'( that hurt so much it still hurts.... I have two screw's in my knee some where I think there on either side I can't remember Lol I have 6 incisions I'm hoping they will heal properly and not scar to bad I have a disease that makes my son heal to much and scar pretty bad. I'm not allowed to do much for two weeks

Thanks My knee cap pops in and out, it moves side to side and I'm missing part of the v shape (can't think of its name) that the knee cap moves over due to damage from my knee cap popping in and out for years Thanks Liv

What do I clean it with I don't want to hurt her

I'm not sure how she did it she came out from behind my fish tanks I don't know if she did it there or not the only thing different around there is our Christmas tree that she sleeps under but I had a look and couldn't see any fur or blood I'll have another look and see if I can see anything though

I didn't end up getting it it's expensive Lol I'll have to get some I'll see how much it is at the other shop I'll be near tomorrow if I have the money I'll get it. What else is there that could work? In the mean time she doesn't go outside if that makes a difference in infection

Hey guys need some help Delta my cat has taken a chunk out of her face I think she only did it in the last half an hour I didn't hear her cry or anything she came out meowing for more food when I seen it what can I do so it doesn't get infected? I've got some stuff called wound-Gard which is an antiseptic bitterant spray will that help her? It's really all I have that can be used on animals it'll sting though i don't really have the money to take her to the vet unless I absolutely have no chioice but too. It doesn't seem to be hurting her she let me near it i have two photos of it there not very good iPads front camera doesn't take very good photos.... Thanks in advance x

There saying if the surgery goes to plan is a 3-6 month recovery period I am make it less if I push myself hard but I'm not willing to do that as I can make it à lot worse that would be a nightmare if that happened. I think on the forms I filled out there was a part about a nurse that would come in for how ever long it is a day but they only help with cleaning and showering if needed (mum does this type of caring) so there really is no point on using it because I don't want a random person in my house to do things my partner can do when he gets home from work and I don't know about any other services they offer this hospital has a bad habit of not telling you anything until it's too late even if you ask them about it. As for day care we can't afford that at the moment and he doesn't go yet. The only stairs we have are three to get in our front door and three to get out the back which will be a pain because there higher then normal steps... The only that can help me are my partners mum and his sister in law but they have a lot of stuff happening now so I don't know if they will be able to... Thank you for the advice And Jase thanks I'm hoping if mum can't come down that they can offer some form of help I can't exactly take a bus to my physio appointments 25 mins away Lol unless they can get me into the physio that sent me to the specialist in the first place which would be so much easier as it's only 5 mins away

As some may remember both my knees are buggered well today around 2pm I got a call from the hospital to say they had a cancelation for this Friday! Now I don't mind the part where I'm possibly getting my right knee fixed depending on if it works or not but I have to organize someone to care for my son and I have no way to get to physio afterwards so far I've worked out next week but after that I'm on my own unless my mum can come down from Queensland I'm scared I'll be on my own not being able to walk properly and not being able to look after my son the surgery isn't bothering me I want that over and done with only to have my other knee done when ever I get it done. Someone tell me it's possible to have knee surgery and be able to look after a 16 month old toddler that is running around now.... Really wish I had this done before I had my son Sorry for the rant no one else will listen to me Lol

I wish delta would I've tried before with a ginger kitten we named chubba and even though she didn't hurt him she was not happy at all that he was in her house lol. He wouldn't be the first cat to try and work his way into my home haha Haha Sasha was the same she looked at him like why are you coming up to me Lol she sniffed him though so I guess that was a good thing she wasn't that bothered by him walking with us either Lol

He is if delta liked others cats it wouldn't be so bad but she has always hated other cats

Some may remember me making a post about Mr grey the cat that has decided to take up residents out the front of our house. We not long got back from a walk with Sasha only went to the end of the road to show my son the Christmas lights that are there, Mr grey walked straight up to Sasha, followed us all the way on the walk and back and as we got two days away from home the neighbors bulldog was out in there front yard (fenced yard) he was barking like crazy at us and here comes Mr grey running up next to Sasha trying to attack the dog through the fence haha I swear he was trying to protect Sasha he didn't come up next to her until she reacted to the dog. He's such a sweet heart I wish he could be ours but he can't come inside my cat hates him. He's been here everyday for over a month now I think he thinks we are his owners my partner calls him and he comes running Lol He seems like the type of cat that would be happiest sitting on your lap getting pats the compete opposite to my cat....
