It is sad people aren't as nice and helpful as they use to be. The whole time I was thinking 'if I was on my own I wonder how many people would stop to help' It was good having 3 cars lol now we only have 2:(

Not sure if its been posted but it goes to show that some people will do anything to help there fur baby It made me cry because of everything happening with Dozer and how different people are in this world.

Bit of a silly question but can mud irritate a dogs face? Since Sasha come in before I cleaned her face I notice her eyes were red and she was rubbing her face on the towel I had on my leg (not sure if she was scratching or trying to clean her own face) I cleaned up her face with baby wipes over an hour ago and her eyes are still red. Would it be from her getting mud in her eyes? It doesn't seem to be bothering her she's just been sleeping since she came in and following me around like a lost sheep when ever I get up she isn't even bothered by the food I have normally she is trying to give me her paw for any food lol

Thought I'd share my joyous and eventful night we had last night. One of our cars has been playing up for a few months now and finally decided to completely crap itself last night in the worst of places. We took Dozer to my OHs cousins for the night, went to the shops but once my OH started it at the shops I looked over and noticed the oil gauge moving up and down and said to him its going to stuff up oh boy was I right on our way to get dinner it cut out four times in a row started again got just into the driveway of KFC and it died. The alternator/start motor died no one at all including a fire fighter stop to help it was raining heavy so we rang OHs mum and her partner came down to help us so did his brother moved it out of the driveway looked at the engine and there is oil coming out of it everywhere need less to say its stuffed (not the word for it lol) needs a new engine. We managed to tow it home its now sitting out the front on the road and by the looks of under it there's no oil left in it. Luckily we have two other cars to choose from. We traded in a Toyota hilux 2wd for a Toyota hilux surf 4x4 (we like our hilux's haha) a week ago she's just come back from the mechanic and going back on Friday had its service yesterday and needs a few things adjusted on Friday all we need to do is buy 3new tyres for it being muddies there expensive but good thing is my OH is a tyre fitter and can get them cheaper So that was my eventful night in the cold and rain and our new toy Anyone else have an eventful night or a new toy?

Sasha is in need of a serious bath she's had to stay out the back all day and its been raining non stop for the last week but the sun has decided to come out now silly weather. Ill try and get a photo of Sasha soon but a description should say how dirty she is lol She was a little smelly because she's due for a bath anyway but now Sasha has gone from being white Ish to having mud all over her legs, belly and face (I think she slipped over in the mud or at least that's what it looks like haha) My issue here is that she doesn't like being bathed and she hates the hair dryer being pregnant and the only one home I need to bath her and dry her almost completely so she can come back in the house how would you bath her? She keeps trying to get in the shower when we have one I was thinking maybe trying to shower her but it'll take forever and I can't lean down for long our shower isn't very big so having Sasha in there might be a bit squishy lol I can't leave her dirty so I have to find a way to at least get the mud off her and dry her Any suggestions?

Update: my OHs mum of all people felt sorry for Dozer and has talked his cousin into asking her real estate if she can keep him there still waiting to hear back from them but we all have our fingers crossed! Haven't heard back from any of the other rescue groups either so hopefully this works out.

It is sad thanks for letting me know that might come in handy lol On an off topic: dogs and cats can tell when something isn't right can't they? Sasha has been really sooky and keeps laying next to me with her head on my lap she doesn't do that unless I'm upset i hope me being the way I am at the moment isnt affecting her to. My cat has been doing the same thing but she lays on my side or my chest rubbing against me and she isn't an affection cat unless she wants food lol Can it affect them in anyway if its upsetting them to?

This will be there fourth or fifth one in that time frame and they do drive bys which I didnt think they could do but apparently they can there've done serveral times. 11 pages of rescue groups some breed specific and some cat ones but the ones that could take him I rang or emailed and the ones I rang can't take him because there full or haven't got room for a big dog and haven't got emails back yet from others. Rang the rescue that Jane said to try and they said try big dog rescue ring them they can't take him because they only have room for 10 dogs and there full. I hoping one that I've emailed can help I really don't want him to go to a pound or awl

I wouldn't put it passed our real estate every inspection we've had they have come back a month later they annoy me lol Doesn't help that no one here understands what it's like for me to be doing this and they all its easy just hand him to a pound and forget about him. I can't do that its easier said then done when its not them.

Silly question What's hibby scrub? Is it just an antiseptic solution? That's an awesome idea though I should make one for here between me and Sasha were accident prone haha

I don't know if its going to I really hope it does but because I can't keep him here for any longer then the weekend Jane can't help any more the then she has. She rang a few rescue and they were full so she gave me a number to nsw animal rescue see if they can help if not i have to choose between AWL or either Renbury Farm or Hawksbury pound I think I'd choose Renbury Farm though even though they are a pound they do everything they can to help the animals find a home or a rescue group. I'm honestly starting to lose it under all the stress of all this I don't know how much more I can handle and I really don't want to give up on finding Dozer a home but having to make all these calls and all these different emails and getting a sorry we can't help you is getting so hard and I end up crying every time I hear it I just wish my OH would help me with this but him being on trial at a new job not getting home until nearly 6 pm he can't do much

Sorry for the delay. We drove 2 and a half hours yesterday to have the papers signed to my suprise they turned up what wasn't a suprise was that they acted as if nothing happened which annoyed me but I grit my teeth and didnt say anything considering the stress I'm under at the moment I did well haha Jane said she can't advertise him as he isn't desexed and that in the time frame it might be hard to find him a home but she is looking into some rescue groups to see if any can take him if not then ill have to take him to Animal Welfare League which she said are better then the RSPCA. Will update again when I know more

An update: they have agreed to meet us tomorrow and sign the papers if they don't the rspca is the first call that's going to be made and I couldn't care less whether or not they try to start something because of it. My OH seems to think that they will start something but oh we'll good luck to them. I'm going to have to keep my mouth shut tomorrow unless they say something then I won't hold back and my OH would want to take my side or ill turn towards him to but I know he's likely to take there side 'to keep the peace' but we will see what happens. I'm annoyed at the fact that my OH said to his mum (which agrees with me surprisingly lol) that he wants to do it the right way and he doesn't want the stress but he's not the one that has to deal with it I am grrrrrrrrrr I can't win!

Wow your pups are gorgeous! They look like best friends. The pup with your phone in its mouth (sorry not sure of a name or gender lol) how did you get her/him to do that? My girl runs off with my phone and hides it in my bed haha

They won't care I don't think they'll think I won't do it. I've got until 8pm to ring the RSPCA tonight so when my OH gets home ill talk to him tell him how it is and see what he says he will more then likely end up angry at me but if that's the case ill do it anyway and he can get over it lol i think I come first before these pieces of crap 8 or so months of stress and putting up with them is enough the amount of times ive ended up out the back cuddling Dozer crying is enough for me to do what ever it takes to make them pay for what they've done to him.
