Thanks for the site ill have to work on some of sashas anxiety issues more before the baby comes along as well. I want my baby to grow up loving dogs as much as I do fingers crossed sasha will allow the baby to come into her world nicely lol some people have the wrong impression on dogs some times that annoys me lol I take sasha for a walk during the day when it's not to hot and that's when my partner is at work its a pain in the butt to work her after he gets homes because he won't walk as far lol

Thank you any advice is much appreciated I'm soo scared my dog will hate me for it lol

Hi all I'm currently 9weeks pregnant with our first child, now my worry is that sasha my husky will get jealous of the baby and might try to hurt the baby she has been around children before but they have all left to go to there own homes my girl is a jealous type but that's mainly with animals has anyone had a problem with introducing a baby to there dog? Sasha has been with me and my cat for the first 3 years or so I've had her and only recently now lives with 2 other dogs I'm scared that she will be jealous and not want to come near me after the baby is here and my girl is my world I couldn't bare to have that happen. Any suggestions in trying to get her use to idea before the baby arrives? I've also got to get her use to walking nicely next to the pram any advice on that? sorry this is long lol

Hi and welcome I rescued my girl and was told she hated cats and not to put her with them but I took the chance and my cat and husky get along just fine they chase each other through the house share food take up my whole bed together lol they love each lol

Well they weren't the brightest people that were working there at the time I got her so who knows lol either way she's my baby and I love her to death first husky I've owned and first big dog she's a big difference to a chihuahua haha I was looking at getting her a friend but those plans changed when I took in my friends rotti/kelpie there best of friends now the fun of not being able to say no to a dog in need

Thanks not sure what made them think she is mixed they didn't know anything about her considering they said she's not good with kids or small animals and said she wasn't friendly but she lives with a cat and a Maltese and loves kids she does have a few anxiety issues but we are working on them.

this is the best i can find for now not the best photo of her as it was her day out and she was in the river most of the day and shes sleeping atm and refuses to get up for a photo lol

Thanks for the welcomes. She weighs about 20-21kgs I can try and get a photo of her standing she doesn't stay in one spot for very long lol

Hi there my names laura im from sydney, Australia and I have a beautiful husky mix named sasha. I rescued her from the pound as she was on death row and hated it there and nearly everyone there also but come straight to me so I took her home and she's been happyly living with me ever since I'm a little bit confused on her age as the pound said she was 3-4 when I got her but the papers I got with her say she is 4 now sort of leaning towards believing her papers though she still acts like a crazy little puppy I'm also in the process of trying to work out what she is cross with I've had people say greyhound, white shepherd, dingo and a range of others what do you think? Sorry if I did the pictures of sasha wrong I think there ok
