It's almost winter here, though I would give Rafeal a wet flannel 'back in the days' when he wouldn't rip it up. He would fall asleep with it on top of him.

I don't think a USB on a collar should replace a microchip, it's useless if taken off or if you dog manages to break his/her collar. I would ask your vet if the top one is a good idea, if their doing it then you shouldn't have any problems.

All Huskies are gorgeous, but I must say there's something I really like about Echo's coat and face that make him stand out Perhaps the black/white contrast?

I don't agree as I've seen 'thicker' Huskies that are within the normal size though people can't wait to say "look at those big paws, he's going to be HUGE"!! Pfft... Have you ever been told this?

Just wondering, how could the OP prove it was their dog since she had to give it to her? Surely ringing the police shouldn't be enough to do that??

Good Idea , I'd also like to see more effort put into the photos posted of dog in shelter/rescues. Lots of them do nothing for what the dog actually looks like, they always look much better in person.

Just want to add in that already having two dogs, they can create a 'pack' and behave in a way they wouldn't normally. Even though my other two dogs are a Collie mix and a chihuahua!! I couldn't trust them together, though my Husky is okay with cats when no other dogs are around.

Agree with Louise, plus it makes me feel quite normal for having three dogs which is normally considered a lot to take on by those around me.

Great photo's How's the pup going if you don't mind me asking, do you still have her? I think I remember you saying once you were looking after her until her new owner's are able to take her.

I didn't mean all breeds, after all I've only come by probably 15% of all breeds there are, I just meant that Huskies have a special personality. -

I'm glad I'm not the only one, IMO Huskies are a breed that process everything around them and show more expression then other breeds, I don't think I could go back to dog breeds that have a "blankness' about them. -
Somehow missed this thread until now. Patch is so beautiful, wonder who the lucky owner will be...

Rafeal loves anyone who is small or young. He always goes up to children first and will be a lot more gentle with them (he acts like it's his duty to keep them happy). At the vets he will go up to the kittens and pugs but tends to be less interested in larger dogs.
