I've still never felt worthy of a well bred dog due to not having prior experience with the breed, I could afford it and had looked at the website's of these breeders but again I wouldn't feel worthy.
Promise this is the last off topic thing I'll say so I don't mess the thread up too much, but I hate the term "broken" used for a dog and any other kind of put down, I wouldn't worry about those things if you love her
I agree some dogs can have really cute features and btw do you have cats?
I do and every rescue I've seen in my area wouldn't get on with a cat.
I came by a rescue once on an overseas rescue and fell in love with it, to bad that was never going to happen lol.
I've found that when a breeder has a pup of show quality they normally want that dog to be shown rather then go to a pet home, which makes sense to me seeing as they put so much work into their dogs. I would never want to take a dog of breed standard if there was
someone who planned to make the dogs potential of better use.
A lot of people who are looking for a pet will go for the dog that looks "a little different" I've found too.
Despite the fact we have two other long haired dogs, I've never had a dog that shed.
I'm yet to experience shedding as Rafeal is only just over four months, though I did watch a few videos of huskies shedding their coat.
I sleep with my Chihuahua right next to me on the same pillow most nights, He is still alive lol luckily I don't move much.
I think you get used to having a small dog, before Rafeal I would pick up Coco and think he was heavy.
He feels like a feather now though compared to Rafeal.
Must say I didn't know what you meant until I looked it up, I don't remember even coming by that word before now. I'd sure be in for a shock if I ever left the country, seems so different from here.
Congratulations
He's gorgeous, sounds like he is a real all-rounder.
Btw, Is that you with him in the first picture? If so then you make a good looking pair.
I'm able to walk to a dogs-allowed beach in 2 minutes. We live near the water, plus there is a bridge which leads to a bush trail to another beach in 5-10 minutes by foot.
I love the pictures btw, did they get in the water too?
I remember years ago, I was in a school choir and we went to the unit where the elderly live who aren't able to look after themselves.
Seeing them and knowing that their life was pretty much over really got to me, I was in tears though I had a solo part so I pretended to have stage fright.
No one ever knew the truth.
I do get teary too sometimes if I hear really good news, even if I don't know the person well.
