I've only just come to realize i've been incredibly critical lately, I came on to the forum with good intentions though that seems to have changed after a while.
If any of my post's have upset you I'm really sorry. I realize this forum isn't the place for it though sometimes I find you don't notice what you're doing until someone else mentions it.
We lost our budgie today, she was 6 years old.
She (Berry) had an egg attached to her which the vet removed though he said we will have to give her a few days to see how she is as he had to push all her insides back in.
I will miss the way she would say "Who's a pretty boy" (we thought she was a male) and make the beeping noise of the microwave. She has her eye's closed in the photo because it was taken after she had her surgery.
I feel pretty happy with the fact that Rafeal is a well behaved angel, if your smug then your not the only one
EDIT: I will look back on my post's and say some of them I didn't give enough thought to, though I'm human and I'm not perfect, though I will try to keep others in mind more so in the future.
We learn though experience, perhaps one day these people will but I wouldn't want to be judged for not "getting it".
If someone on here asked a question about breeding their dog or buying a pup at a pet shop, I would still offer any knowledge I could give though I would try to mention politely why I think they shouldn't.
There was a time when I thought "why 8 weeks"? Though that was awhile ago and my views have changed a lot since then. People just need time to work things out for themselves.
I always think those kind of people are the ones making themselves look pathetic.
In the end you were in the right while she carried on like a two year old.
Be thankful you are much more mature then her
I was just about to write "I should watch that movie again" before Rosemary commented, I can't remember much of it. I do remember the beautiful Huskies though obviously.

Just came by this, part of me wanted to ask what he knew about the breed and tell him that there is a very small chance of getting a puppy (as in 8-16 weeks) at a rescue (which he mentioned) if it's looks mainly Husky, anyone with a pup would sell it or if their responsible find a good home themselves. I didn't though because I still don't have a lot of first hand experience despite the research I did beforehand. I'm not in a position to judge and for all I know he could be wonderful owner. Time will only tell...
This subject came up recently in another dog forum. I would never put myself in that kind of position, If I had to move it would be for a reason which makes it impossible to not.
I think if someone has a child that needs long term treatment in a more advanced country then I could understand that. In those kind of situation's I think it's give and take. If you must then it's fine but you should also help the problem by making your next dog a rescue if you gave one up. Problems start when people would only ever get a puppy and eventually give them up without ever considering a rescue,
If I didn't NEED to move then I would stay for my dogs.
The first four pictures are similar to what you would see in Australia.
I've always wondered what South Africa was like without the stereotypes portrayed.
There great photo's
Welcome,
If by who you mean where should I get a husky from, its best to go to a registered breeder who does health tests or a Shelter/breed rescue.
There should be quite a bit of information if you search though the forums on where is the best place to get a husky and how to know if the breed is right for you.
I waited 1-2 years before I actually got a husky.
This is completely off topic btw.
I've noticed two things which have happened to my laptop
1: A file of photo's have disappeared and I can't find them anywhere including the recycle bin
2: When I'm on the internet sometimes patches or the whole screen will go black and I need to close the internet and reopen it.
I haven't renewed my antivirus too.
Any idea of what's happening?
