  1. Malamutes were bred to pull a heavy weight a shorter distance, while Huskies were bred to pull a lighter load a longer distance. Kind of like comparing a weight lifter to a marathon runner perhaps??
  2. It looks like you'll just have to tie them up to be sure or whatever else you have in mind. Sorry to hear you have to deal with this, it sounds like one of those situation where reacting would put you in a bad position. I would just hold out so long as they don't cause any additional trouble.
  3. A human child would also go well under the last picture IMO lol. I agree with a lot of what is on it though.
  4. Agreed Though people with small dogs cop the "get a REAL dog" and "rat" comments so I think change is needed on both sides of the fence.
  5. Internet is so expensive on phones, mine is $2/MB if I used it. I actually rented a DVD last night, haven't done that in over a year
  6. I "decided" to see a friend
  7. How will I survive???? This is my worst nightmare lol.
  8. I wonder if he/she is young, most of the ones I've seen listed have been less then 2 years old Good Luck, don't take on too much though. A rescue will hold out for a good owner, however long it takes.
  9. And this time it actually has it listed as 17000 under your profile pic Just realized you wrote that... silly me not getting the whole thing in before I post.
  10. pets? What's your opinion on working breeds as pets which haven't gotten to the 'pet' stage yet. It seems like each and every breed is seeing more pet homes, such as the Maremma Sheepdog. Are there any breeds which you think should only be kept for their main purpose?
  11. Both though mainly coffee. I could live without tea, but not COFFEE, Black Coffee I'm from Australia though, not the UK
  12. Haha, I haven't had anyone assume my dog is vicious though they tell me he looks evil. I would actually consider them to be the most trustworthy breed I've ever met, I would never freak out having my face up close to my dog while giving him a chest scratchy. He is not at all intimidated by it, his expression tells me he's enjoying it

    Pasta Sauce

I've had a few things go gross before their use by date. I hope you didn't spend too much time preparing it all
  14. She is beautiful, I was hoping you would pick the first one in the photo's
  15. Rafeal is just over five months and is 28.6601 pounds. I have found his growth has slowed a bit but he was probably almost on the larger side at 8 weeks. I think sometimes they'll just have a moment here and there where it slows a bit, I wouldn't worry
  16. Most of the time I've found that dogs/pups will already come with a microchip, though I guess there will be the occasional person that wont for some reason. Our first Husky was not the first dog we had so tbh, we didn't buy a lot before we got him. ( Attention and discipline are a much better way of showing love then buying expensive accessories in my opinion) If you already have a dog then you may have spare items such as an old bed which will be perfectly fine to use. Others may disagree, but I don't think you need to go overboard with treats, toys etc... (you can always buy more later on) Old newspaper is fine in place of puppy pads though i'd be taking him/her out the backyard for that if I were you. Moonbeam, tags are defiantly a must so a thumbs up for that EDIT:I 'll add in that the best thing to spend your money on is quality food with human grade meat and other nutritious ingredients.
  17. Welcome, Jaxon has such gorgeous eyes
  18. Any pups they breed could very well turn out different to what they expected or were hoping for, I've only read a few articles but there is so much that goes into breeding. I myself got lost somewhere reading all these scientific terms they use lol.
  19. Their both beautiful, great video
  20. Try going to your profile and then topics
  21. Is she a healthy weight? If she's having more then she should then that could be the reason, some Huskies will eat to the point of making themselves sick and having loose stools.
  22. I don't know if your hoping for a certain answer, but her face honestly reminds me of a kelpie.
  23. For the most part we don't have that problem, the problem is that nobody cares enough to take their dogs out that often. Once Rafeal is safe to go out though I will definitely be taking him for a walk along the fascine
  24. I've heard of them before, though they don't ship to where I am unfortunately. Glad you found something your dogs enjoy

    Coldsores

I've never had cold-sores though I do get dry lips in winter. Always wish afterwards that I didn't pull the skin off. For some reason I can't leave it alone
