  1. Our Collie is 13 years old and she knows very well that digging in the garden is not allowed. Rafeal decided he'd give it a try though each time she would bark until he stopped. Our Collie is very protective of her family so she seems to like putting other dogs in their place. Do yours ever do this?
  2. I don't think there's anything wrong with not having kids. Like others have said it's a life long commitment. After all where do you think your adult child will turn if they can't find a job or can't afford to pay the bills. These days it's not unusual for 23 year olds to still live with their parents. If you think of everything your parents have done and the security they gave you, could you give that to someone else? If you feel used to having someone tell you what to do and be the one under authority then maybe one of the main reason's is that your still young and haven't gotten to that point in life yet. Right now, I can't see myself ever having children though I do love being around them and getting to see them experience everything you did at one stage. I've met children who have annoyed me though I've met others who are looking for authority figures and someone to look up to and being able to help them develop their interests and talents I find very rewarding. Sorry I'm no help, lol.
  3. This is why the paws stay off the bed Also, I don't think he will fit on that chair much longer, lol.
  4. I find it depends more on the individual dog, though in some cases a male may get on better with females as some will feel less intimidated by them.
  5. They are gorgeous Their so young, though you can probably get a pretty good idea of their personalities. Do you think you'll go for the more dominant one or one which is a bit more easy-going?
  6. Maybe try taking things to occupy him such as a toy or treats. Get him to realize these will only be given with good behavior and he may eventually catch on and not need them when you go out. Sorry, that's all I can suggest.
  7. I meant if that's how a certain breed is supposed to look such as Italian Greyhounds. They look skinny but different from Undernourished. I find breed traits in show dogs to have a lot more emphasis.
  8. I find mine will eat more if there is less in front of him. Give him a big bowl, he will eat two mouthfuls. A small bowl and he eats the lot. Perhaps it's just fussy-ness which will wear off, if he thinks he's not going to get extra's he may eat more. Though if it's been happening for a while I would take him to the vet.
  9. Just ones that are breeding for the wrong reasons, I know breeders don't have to show to be ethical though. Again, I don't know a lot. Just my suggestion why they might look thinner.
  10. I agree some of them look skinny in comparison to dogs from non-ethical breeders though I think it may be partially due to the extreme breeding practices in some breeds which changes the way their bones/bodies are shaped therefore looking thinner I really don't know a lot though, so feel free to override my comment.
  11. She'd probably avoid the tablet still, lol, though I will give it a try. All our dogs are fine with bread though they don't get it that often.
  12. Our Collie gets her tablet in a vegiemite sandwich though she will go to the trouble of spitting it out once she knows where it is.
  13. Great Pictures, Those are some very cute puppy ears and I love the background too with the plants.
  14. You are all missing out, I'm glad we have both Soccer AND AFL
  15. Hi, Welcome to the forum. I can't give you any advice sorry as my dogs are not fed raw, though I'm sure others will be able to assist you. You could also try searching though the forums as I have a feeling you may find some previous topics regarding feeding your dog raw food.
  16. I love the last photo, she looks like a pretty little flower with that cone-ish thing around her , lol.
  17. I think I've lost a lot of my hobbies tbh, such as Clarinet. I love learning about different cultures and languages. I'm doing spanish at the moment. I'm hoping to start a journalism course next year and will possibly be doing more work experience. I am a little into fashion though I don't always go with what's 'in' if I can't see a reason for it. I generally like to be a little different but not too noticable at the same time. I also enjoy pilates and other toning exercises and try to look after my skin. Cooking is a hobby though not one I chose. The only reason I cook is because I'm fussy when it comes to food, lol. I cringe at the pesky amount of vegies people use in their meals.
  18. Wishing you and Chula all the best

It looks like she was almost about to fall off the lounge, lol Luckily daddy's got hold of her
  20. I'm not the type to be nasty to someone's face, and I would never physically hurt someone. My big downfall is that I get carried away and normal criticism turns into a full on gossip session without me realizing until afterwards, I also tend to just 'go' with other people and say things I don't agree with and that shouldn't be said. Behind it all I actually don't judge a lot, I suppose it's just an easy thing to fall into. I consider myself a 'decent' person though I definitly could be a better person.

    Passion

Go for it Most people assume it's just shaking your hips and such but when most people try they make a fool of themselves because they assumed it was easily done. I'm sure your great if you've danced in front of that many people.
  22. She must be thinking 'I could get use to this" lol. Hopefully there's no third round
  23. Thanks guys for sharing your own experiences, It appeared I'm not alone as the receptionist questioned why a woman was in the waiting room in quiet a rude manner, she was actually waiting to pick up her dog.
