  1. Is there any way I could make it bigger? I enlarged the picture but it still comes out smaller.
  2. I'm left handed and footed mainly, though I sometimes switch between my left and right hand. Rafeal uses his right paw if he wants to move something though when he runs his front legs go together and likewise for his back legs. I remember when I was about 6-7 being at the medical centre where they were trying to teach me to use my right only, didn't work
  3. Rafeal loves it when I give him an old tissue box to play with (meaning destroy). It seems to stop him from getting into things he's not supposed to. He also loves attention so plenty of that too. He loves belly rubs and being massaged on the sides of his face. I rarely use food, though I know he would very happily eat a bagful of treats if he could, lol.
  4. I will add in that I would foster a dog until a home is found, though keeping a dog is a huge commitment which is why I would want to be sure it's the right one.
  5. Rescuing did cross my mind, though it was pretty much impossible given that I have a cat and also the fact that there are so few Huskies in my area, the few that are in rescues get snapped up quickly. We have had two dogs that were re-homes though the main reason for that was because these people were family and both dogs were very much loved. I'm not going to lie, I am turned off shelters because most are dogs I would never consider in terms of breed. I think I would only re-home a friend or family members dog like I have in the past. Someone who I know well and someone who I have seen truly love their dog and not want to let them go. That's just my opinion and I will say there are many great dogs in shelters though there was only one that I fell in love with and if I could have taken her in I would. We will never see an end to the overpopulation without stricter laws preventing it.

    Smile..

Great pictures Each week from when Rafeal was 2 weeks old I would get sent photo's of him. When I first took the camera out he knew what to do and positioned himself in front of the camera and looked directly at it. One of the cutest moments...
  7. I'm not saying this is the case though if both parents are registered while the litter is not it wouldn't hurt to ask if the parents were on the limited register. This is done by breeders to protect the breed by making sure that breeding is done by those who they trust and who have dogs of breeding quality. Though every situation is different and they could have just decided not to like you said.
  8. This isn't quite what you were looking for, however I once had a red heeler who's ears were sunburnt. The flies were always nibbling at his ears despite using different creams. Unfortunately he's ears never get any better and he permanently had bits out of his ears where the flies had eaten. He was originally a friends dog and was out on a station when his ears first got burnt. He never once tried to kill any of the flys though, he was such a kind dog.
  9. It was actually stated on a breeders website/application that they would contact their vet, though the person would know beforehand of course and had to give their consent. If they couldn't verify the information they gave then they would be denied.
  10. On here I'm pretty open though prefer to keep certain things private such as what Marc mentioned as well as my exact location and last name.
  11. If they can't deal with it then that's their loss. Some people will go as far as ringing their local vet to ensure the potential owner is telling the truth. They won't get a dog off anyone else whose reputable with their attitude so I think you should just let them go, I'm sure if they want a dog badly enough they wont care if they go to a BYB or pet shop and let your pup be the one that gets a good home.
  12. Sorry, Hope you all work something out though I still like it as it is now too.
  13. You have plenty of post's so I think it would be a nice gesture for welcoming Aurora and thanking you. IMO
  14. And the soft baby fur It's just like a duckling.
  15. I know someone whose dog is fully deaf and blind. The vet ( he is actually decent despite this) said she (her dog) needed a bullet in her head. Though Emmy still lives a happy life. She runs around, barks and loves attention. I didn't know she was deaf and blind until I was told.
  16. FIRST VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She looks so cute under the triangle thing.
  17. I think you mean BingBlaze n Skylar
  18. Sorry to hear that I think though your dog should be able to live a fairly normal life, things to consider though would be that he may be sensitive to being touched unexpectedly or become anxious if he doesn't know where you have gone. If he is then try making sure he is awake to see you leave or before you put your hand out to touch him. Sorry I'm not much help though I honestly think he will be fine once both of you are accustomed. Good Luck.
