Dex01
Hi all I was reading up on the forum about raw feeding. I found a few references to chicken carcasses and chicken wings. I always thought one should never feed a dog chicken bones because of the chocking hazard?? Or does that only aply if they are cooked? Thanks alot
BingBlaze n Skyla
if they are uncooked then they soft so are all good - if they are cooked then they become hard and brittle
Andy
As long as the carcass is fresh and not cooked then it will be fine. Cooked bones splinter lengthways and yes can be a choking hazard, getting stuck in the throat and stomach.
Sid_Wolf
When feeding carcuss feed with some meat aswell, like chicken breast or a mince of some sort, as the carcuss on its own has little to no meat on it and all that bone without meat to balance can make them constipated
