Austinville
Fantastic! I have to say that I like how each time the site is in the news , the focus has been on the breed and the best interests of the breed. I believe that each of us should be very proud of that, especially Sarah and Marc. While we each have a unique love of the breed, the best that we could ever do for them is to educate, educate, educate others. What a superb job of that is being done! As a reporter, I know how quickly a story can turn into something it isn't - obviously those of you who are the contacts for the writers/reporters are getting your point across very well and they are taking note and following your lead. Great job Steve and Val (and Husky-Owners in general!) We can be very proud to be a part of this community!
Val (Zebedee)
Was there no images with the artical Peter yes, Peter, there was a picture, but for some reason it didn't show on the newspaper link, it was the same pic that the Wigan paper posted (see News section & Wigan Newspaper thread)
Val (Zebedee)
thank you for your positive replies - that has always been my aim when contacting the papers - I'm tired of people who don't know or understand the breed giving their opinion which is so wide of the mark, it's untrue, so if we can spread the word in a light-hearted way & educate people on the facts, then I'm happy to do so, xxx

Sasha_Bailey
Well done on educating the masses...well the local ones. I'm glad people are educating those that don't understand the breed. As you know I have two and like to think I have a sound understanding on the breed, however after joining this forum not so long ago I have gained a lot more information and hints and tips etc... Thanks to all that have helped make this forum what it is.
Sarah
that's great! Totally agree about educating people - whilst it's nice to see the forum being publicised, it's even more fantastic to see that we're reaching out and making a difference
