leasuenichols@gmail.com
Chopper has always been a weird eater, some days he won't eat at all and then other days he can't stop eating. He's three years old and weighs 48 pounds- he's in perfect health and size. The vet says "he'll eat when he's hungry" But I was wondering if anyone else's husky does this? Also maybe he's bored of his food. Any food suggestions that are found in the US? Thanks!

leasuenichols@gmail.com
Currently I'm feeding him Purina Beneful kibble with the Beneful wet food. But after research I know it's definitely not the best for him. And yes! his food is always left out for him to eat.
BingBlaze n Skyla
right thats probably the problem there - put his food down - if he hasnt eaten after about 15 minutes take it away and dont feed him till his next meal time (no treats either) he will soon learn he needs 2 eat his food when its down or he wont get 2 eat
valkyries
Loki is 3 years old she's on raw, some times she leaves it other times she wants more. Thor he eats every thing all the time, then he will finish what the others leave. he's on raw Odin now he's a diff story, he wont touch raw, i have to cook his meat then cut it into smale cubes lol. he does get board with his foor so i change it. they get meat raw, cooked for Odin, they get fish in kibble, beef, stake, all diff meats i'll maybe put an egg in their food once aweek. just try different things xxxxx

Marc
Ours go from eating everything all the time, to being a royal pain in the backside and not eating anything. We have found that a bit of variety does help

proximity
This thread puts me at ease a bit as well. My girl has been running hot and cold on her appetite and I was really confused with what was going on. Good to see that it's not totally out of the ordinary! leasuenichols@gmail.com
Glad it put you as ease- it did me too! It was something that I was not used it- my first dog was a German Shepherd and it would have inhaled the whole food bowl before I could even set it down! ha ha.
